Pistachio cookies to melt away
Let's continue with the pistachio fragrances. After "celebrities" of this fragrance such as the Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33, or the Pistachio had turned out to be a disappointment and I lost my heart to the discontinued Inspirations by Payard - Pistachio Ganache of all things, I now look at what the low price sector can pistachio.
With Pistachio Gelato, Dua also tries its hand at putting pistachio ice cream in a bottle, and yes, the surprise of the day: they're close, much closer than expensive competitors and only outdone by another cheapie (spoiler: Pistachio Ice Cream but I'll discuss that in more detail one by one).
What Dua delivers here is a damn tasty pistachio that will make any gourmand fan's heart swell.
The fragrance starts right away with the name-giving green nut, although, and this is perhaps the only shortcoming of the fragrance, at least if you absolutely want pistachio ice cream, it smells for me less like pistachio ice cream, but rather like delicious pistachio pastry, because to the pistachio quickly comes a warm buttery note. Maybe that's supposed to be the ice cream and vanilla cream, but it reminds me of cookies fresh out of the oven when they're still a bit soft. Very sweet but not squeaky, definitely very tasty. How much you want to smell like a dessert, of course, is a matter of taste, but for all Nachkatzen and Gourmandliebhaber it is definitely worth testing this fragrance!
For the price range, the durability is also quite ok, after about 4 hours, the scent went with me in a creamy-vanilla drydown, but was still perceptible on the skin about 3 more hours.
