Agreeable salty citrus
Theodoros Kalotinis Aegean Salt & Citrus is an aptly-named, fresh blend of sea salt and citrus that transports me to the beach without a heady marine quality (i.e. calone, driftwood, seaweed), not that that would be a bad thing, but its absence makes this fragrance a bit easier for everyone to enjoy. I could certainly wear this every day and in any situation and feel comfortable, as it seems to be reasonably dense and perform reasonably well, even though I’m not testing it in very hot or cold temperatures. While it doesn’t stand out in the way that Coffee Addict does, it’s the type of fragrance that every house and every collector could use, an easy-to-wear, every day salty citrus. And priced at 45 euros for 50ml (like the rest of the EDP line, sold through the house website), it’s very reasonable to acquire in today’s market.

I'm in Crete
This is what an inhabitant of the island of Crete might hear from his house with the orange roof, when after his summer work he sits on the terrace to drink a fruit juice. The opening makes me think of a glass overflowing with sweet lemon juice with a splash of grapefruit on top. The salty note is perceived after a few moments, it is like a sea breeze that reaches us, looking out of a window, a hundred meters from the sea shore, therefore without the presence of any odor reminiscent of algae or particularly pungent. The fragrance remains so throughout its temporal development, with the marine note in the foreground, which envelops the citrus fruits. In concrete terms it is a perfume without complexity and contrasts, it doesn't even have that particular note or accord that can distinguish it from others.
But it remains a marine fragment, pleasant even if minimalist

Salt & Citrus - Nothing More & Nothing Less
This fragrance is a fresh green citrus with a prominent salt-y twist. Like your skin have just dried after taking a bath in the salty ocean. Refreshing, the citrus is so fresh and juicy that you could almost imagine the fruit laying in front of you. ‘Fresh and cool’ as the brand says itself. But that is about it. Nothing groundbreaking with neither longevity nor sillage.

Salt & Citrus, that is obviously what this smells like, but it’s a light and easy one at that. The perfume is bright, easy and crowdpleasing, but perosnally I feel like it is a bit boring and falls through the cracks. Still, my friend meant that it was perfect just because of that; It is not too male nor female leaning, not too strong nor too light, but in the middle of every aspect, thus perfect.

It reminds me a bit of ‘Under the Lemon Tree’ but this lasts a bit shorter. Maybe I’ve just tried it in the wrong climate, though, my usual climate is way drier and colder than what of the Aegean sea. Still, this evokes a feeling of a hot and sunny day at a mediterranian island, and THAT I can love.

Sunny Rocks by the Sea
Thank you dear Linnea for the opportunity to test the fragrance during a hiking letter.
Citrus does not play the main role here, nor does salt, which I really like. I can't decipher other notes, but there are definitely flowers in there too. I think of lonely rocks by the sea, covered with wildflowers - warmed by the sun, cooled by the breeze. No sweetness, but also not entirely bitter. This fragrance was one of my favorites.

Hard to describe...
I discovered Aegean Salt & Citrus through Linnea's travel letter, and she asked for a few lines about it. I'm happy to oblige, but this will probably turn out to be rather confusing...
During the first test, the scent struck me as fruity-citrusy, pleasant and not too sharp, a bit like a light and fluffy bubble bath cover (subtly soapy), with the fruits being rather blurred or not clearly identifiable.
In the second test, however, I strangely only perceived a faint floral note, unremarkable but nice.
Behind it, very weak and indefinable, there was a fresh-aquatic nuance. After about an hour, a more persistent note emerged that reminded me of Womanity, becoming very dominant and likely attributable to the sea salt. The next morning, there was a delicate, slightly synthetic and sweet residue...
(Just to be cautious, I should mention that I later developed a severe allergy on my wrist, which could be 50% attributed to this perfume)
Overall, a quite pretty and wearable scent, but it is too vague for my liking...

Nice salty citrus scent for hot weather. It brings you to the seaside and make you smell as If you got out of the sea. Lovely!

As far as fresh salty scents go, I really like this one. The salt is more prominent than the citrus, and it's realistic yet pleasant.

Citrus freshness with a hint of aquatic and something green. It fades quite quickly, and the rest smells a bit like bath additive.

Aquatic in the sense of a refreshing-spicy and sparkling shower gel. I think CLIFF smelled like that. I’m a bit biased here°°°

Beach day. I can taste the salt in the air, my towel smells freshly washed. Before heading to the beach, I generously applied..

Juicy oranges, bitter grapefruit, and unfortunately also dish soap with lemon scent. Fresh + zesty, with salt from the pack. No sea.

I can't shake the feeling that many fragrance notes from this brand are extremely synthetic, just like this combo: synthetic, dish soap, ... unfortunately.

Get the tequila! We already have citrus and salt here at the beach ;)
Nice, but unfortunately nothing more.
