A Space Odyssey
In the steel-blue Superstructure of Zimaya-Labs, adorned with golden mirror windows, Professor Siada’s work is done. Satisfied he beholds his creation, his Golden Fusion is a success.
Time to go home. After a brief decontamination in the Cleanroom, he nods to the guard and steps through the bronze gates.
As he leaves the building, he feels the glow of the evening sun on his face.
A playful desert wind surrounds him with the scent of warm spices drifting from the local market.
The journey home takes half an hour.
In his Landspeeder, the sultry wind flickers through his hair as he crosses the oases.
The earthy scent of the riverbed, mingled with that of ancient trees and exotic flowers, brushes against his nostrils.
Darkness is falling as he sees the green domes of Theed.
As he glides peacefully through the streets, the earthy freshness of the city, the moss-covered stones, and the sweet aroma of the distant water remind him of his creation.
He smiles with satisfaction.
