A scent of well-being ️
I (female, 34 years young) come into the kitchen to the family breakfast table. After a long Saturday shower, my hand intuitively reached for the Midsummer bottle, I sprayed a few times and went downstairs. I don't remember falling in love with the scent or being interested in it at any point. But since all Roja fragrances are also interesting because of my curiosity to discover them, I probably bought the few milliliters here in the souk.
On the way to the kitchen, my little son comes up to me and gives me a hug. I continue walking afterwards. The sun is shining through all the windows in the house, it's finally a warm, sunny April day.
When my husband comes in, he asks our little one if he hadn't sprayed on his perfume, he doesn't know what dad means.
But mom knows. I shout from the kitchen, asking if it's possible that I smell so good.
Yes, he comes closer and sniffs my hair. Don't I have something like that, he asks me. I answer no, unfortunately you don't have anything that classy. We both have to smile, because my husband refuses to wear fragrances at all, it's just not his thing. Well, at least he has a nice one, Terre d'Hermes eau fraiche, thanks to a gift from his wife.

Midsummer Dream is an extremely comfortable perfume. I feel very comfortable with it, even now in pregnancy, because the fougere sounds are extremely soft and smoothly incorporated. Like an embrace, Dove creates its fragrances, caressing and soul-stirring.
A Midsummer Dream is a very noble, fine fragrance in the classic direction. Somewhere like a men's cologne then comes the soft embedding in floral woody notes! Then again comes the gentle spice.

The interplay of notes is wonderful.
The overall impression is freshly spicy, somewhat unsweetly floral, and extremely accurate. Simply beautiful to wear.

If I had to use an adjective to describe the fragrance, it would be:

tasteful, elegant, cool-spicy, warm-hearted, charming, relaxed, charismatic, noble, steadfast, dignified, rooted, clearly accurate, round, delicate and harmonious

Best regards Alisa23

My summary of Guerlain's Herbes Troublantes
- the fragrance has a light, carefree and upbeat character that is both stimulatingly fresh and soothing

- the green, spicy notes are softened by the musk-floral combination and become creamy, fluffy and fine as they progress. Therefore, for me, a neutral fragrance for a woman

- overall, HT has a high level of diffuseness and transparency, while its longevity is enormous

- HT is significantly softer and more complex than Herba Fresca, and harmonizes better with the skin PH

- on me, HT smells like a nice body lotion with a fresh, herbaceous touch, but wrapped in a pleasant, radiant cloud of fragrance, in keeping with the motto:

"The greatest art is to make something simple really good"

In my opinion, Herbes Troublantes achieves this perfectly. The fragrance does not strain its wearer, lends a well-groomed freshness and sociability of character and is a 1A with an asterisk in terms of technical implementation and quality.

I would wear the fragrance with light shades in a smart casual look, whether casual or a little more chic for the evening, both are conceivable.

Thank you Guerlain for this modern but classic fragrance!

Not a symphony, an explosion!
I have never smelled a more invigorating and sparkling fragrance in my life. And, as if it wasn't enough water running down my throat every time I smell it, this bastard lasts up to two days with two sprays. And on top of that, it stays really fresh, the spicy, extasy freshness lasts until the end! It really is a beauty!

What kind of magic water is this?

Children say it smells like a tasty green apple and want to take a bite out of me.

Perfect and special in every respect
I apologize at this point that I can't really describe Stellar Times as a fragrance.
A floating, soft but striking symbiosis of light, creamy woody notes, the beguiling depth of the amber accord and that certain something.
Let's get to that certain something: it is diffuse, has a physical, intimate skin scent, but not a typical musk, something subtly salty, animalic, spicy, pleasant, valuable. The floral is very subtle to my nose, maybe it gives a little citrusy fresh creaminess, ok.

What I can say for sure, the feel is "million dollar vibe", nothing less.
A piece of jewelry.
Really expensive, really good, really in style.

Develops fantastically on the skin, on leather and on cashmere.

A really great fragrance, and mmN the best from Louis and perhaps ever. A cannon in a bottle. Amazingly wearable and not at all complicated or seriously old-fashioned.

Clear recommendations for men and women with the right standing!

Oh the clean smell of dust, oh and gone already. Was it something, or am I imagining things?
Mojave Ghost is not an unpleasant fragrance per se, even if it would be too dusty, exactly dusty not even powdery, and too monotonous for me. But really yawn-inducing.

It develops too quickly into a hint of fragrance, reminiscent of a hand cream. Little progression, the play of notes, you know when note after note alternates? I don't find any of that here. No statement, no decision, no temperament, not even romance. Fog-nothing-nothing-dust-yawn, I'm off to drink coffee.

It really is a compact, profile-less fragrance that is also incredibly quiet and skint. A deodorant? A hand cream?
But a perfume for over 200 EU? I don't know. I would be grateful if someone could explain to me the reason for wearing Mojave Ghost. So what is the purpose of it?
Maybe if you work in the medical field where fragrances don't really go down well? But then why not go for something fresh and clear that isn't so nebulous and at least radiates a little? Mojave Ghost is a complete absence of rough edges, of lively fragrance play and sillage.
A ski fragrance for a fortune.

Ah now I understand, in order to at least smell like a bit of Ghost, Bayredo suggests spending as much again and buying the body care products. Hej not a stupid move for the house!

I hope that my somewhat critically ironic manner will not be taken seriously and personally. After all, the fragrance has plenty of fans.

Why would anyone want to smell like a dusty desert flower with almost no really definable scent for a huge bar of money?
