Feel-good fragrance with a short duration
This perfume has been on my wish list for a long time. I love the scent of the classic Nivea cream because it immediately reminds me of my dad. I found it hard to imagine it as a perfume, but I really wanted to try it out.
Both on the test strip and on the skin, you can definitely smell the typical Nivea cream fragrance at the beginning: slightly citrusy, very nourishing and a little soapy. I think it's great.
Unfortunately, it goes downhill after that. The fragrance changes quickly, becoming increasingly powdery and softer. After about 4 hours, I can no longer perceive it on my skin.
This creamy scent lingers a little longer in my hair. However, it doesn't go well together for me if the hair smells like a greasy cream. Therefore, I would say that I haven't yet figured out the best way to wear this perfume. I would wish for better longevity and sillage, but for the price I think it's still manageable.
I still really like the fragrance itself and it simply evokes positive memories without being too exciting or garish. The individual components are well coordinated, nothing is distracting and nothing is in the foreground. Simply a successful interplay that leaves you smelling well-groomed and freshly moisturized.
For me, it is a feel-good fragrance for relaxed days.

Up close and personal
This perfume was also interesting for me, especially because of the milk note. The other reviews sounded promising and so I immediately took part in a sharing. I was looking forward to a fragrance that felt like a second skin - and I wasn't disappointed. Nevertheless, the fragrance is very different to what I expected.
When I first spray it on, I find it very powdery, but over time it develops a floral and creamy warmth. I particularly notice ylang-ylang and amber. The milk note is very subtle and could be stronger for my sake. I am really relieved that the fragrance is not a headache candidate for me despite the musk. The fragrance stays close to the skin, is clean, light and unobtrusive. It is neither too soapy nor too animalistic.
The sillage is rather weak, but that can be just right and appropriate in some situations. The longevity is solid, the fragrance lasts up to 8 hours on me.
Le Musc & La Peau Extrait de Parfum is a great fragrance that is rather unagitated and quiet and scores with its closeness to the skin. This is definitely the right fragrance for anyone looking for something subtle. I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

Perfect for sniffing, unfortunately not for me to wear
I didn't wear any fragrances for many years. Nevertheless, I was repeatedly told that I smelled like warm milk and baby cream. So at some point I came up with the idea of exploring perfumes that contain exactly these fragrance components. For me, the first perfume with a hint of milk was Blanche Bête. The name sounds mysterious and mythical, and that's exactly how I feel about the fragrance.
Due to the price, I only bought one bottle at first. When it arrived, I was immediately enchanted. At first sniff, I really just smelled pure milk with very subtle notes of vanilla and cocoa. I used to find the smell and taste of cow's milk quite awful, but it works brilliantly for me in this perfume and I can't get enough of it. The scent is not too sweet or sticky, just perfect. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as warm and cozy, but rather airy, floating and creamy.
Unfortunately, the incense scent in particular is relatively strong on my skin. I don't notice the floral notes at all. I am pleased that Blanche Bête is so multi-dimensional, but unfortunately the scent is a little too intense and smoky on me. Those around me have also given me different feedback on how they find the fragrance on me. My colleague in particular, with whom I share the office every day, found the scent rather oppressive and unpleasant. What a shame.
My conclusion: I love smelling Blanche Bête - this fragrance is extraordinary and beautiful. But I rarely wear it myself because its intensity is a little too much for me and the smoky notes don't suit me. I find the longevity and sillage of this fragrance exceptionally strong.

My favorite fragrance from the Milk Kit
I find Commodity's Scent Space concept incredibly exciting. There are three different intensities for each fragrance: Personal (-), Expressive and Bold (+), so that you can decide individually on the projection and intensity of the fragrance. Full of curiosity, I ordered the Exploration Set (18 samples in total) and sniffed my way through it. Many of the fragrances struck me positively, and I then ordered two more in a larger bottle. One of them was Milk Personal.
All Milk fragrances smell incredibly delicious, sweet and gourmand.
Milk smells very caramelly to me.
Milk+ is too intense for my taste, and the firewood note bothers me.
Milk-, on the other hand, seemed perfect to me. The fragrance is pleasant, but not boring. The sweet and woody notes are well balanced, with the tonka bean in particular coming out a little stronger. I find it very special and suitable for a cozy autumn day. Although the name suggests a milky scent, I would say that the fragrance is more reminiscent of a spice blend for a milky hot drink. I used to use Lush's Sleepy body lotion before bed and couldn't get enough of its scent. Milk- reminds me of that time, and I like to wear it to sleep sometimes too.
As expected, the sillage is rather subtle and the fragrance is really not overpowering. Unfortunately, I have often noticed that the fragrance leaves me with a very synthetic, almost toxic-smelling note after a few hours. I am still trying to find out exactly why this is the case.

Cozy, warm and beguiling - unfortunately only for a short time
I received a bottle of the original
You Eau de Parfum as part of a sharing. I was expecting great things and was rather disappointed. To me, the original smells very artificial and like wet paper. However, when Glossier launched two other variants, I became curious. A short time later, I was in London and happened to walk past the Glossier store.
I sprayed You Doux on my right wrist and
You Rêve on my left. You Doux immediately catapulted me back to my early twenties: A colleague always wore
Eternity Eau de Parfum and smelled totally delicious and beguiling to me. I thought the fragrance was so good, but I had the feeling that I was still a little too young for it. At the beginning, You Doux smells just as floral and fascinating to me as Eternity. A few seconds later, other fragrance notes unfold, making the scent cozy and milky. None of the components stand out for me. However, I find the composition very balanced.
I immediately bought a bottle of You Doux in London. I wore it almost every day throughout the fall and winter - and I still haven't had enough. For me, this is also a fragrance that fits into the "Your skin but better" category. As soon as I spray it on, I feel comfortable, soft and secure. Unfortunately, the fragrance doesn't last long on my skin.
