I'm still trying to figure out what I'm smelling. As a lover of skin fragrances I knew I had to add this to my collection.
As soon as I tested it was a blast of WOOD. The way the wood smells in new furniture. It reminded me a lot of
Angel Dust Eau de Parfum , so much that I had to test them both side by side. But they are quite different.
Angel Dust is sweet, creamy and peppery where IDKW is citrusy, sharp and woody. Both may be siblings, but with undeniably different personalities.
After a second thest the bergamote was gone and I was left with a very strong scent that to my nose smelled like black licorice gummies, but I can link this note to those reviews that speak about rubber or synthetic smell. Yet, it was not unpleasant.
It leans a lot more masculine than Angel Dust, but it is pretty unisex. On the dry down, the is just that nice muted but noticeable molecular scent.
This perfume may not be pretty, or elegant, or sweet, or chic, but it is original enough to have in your collection. I have not layer it with anything else yet, but sounds promising.
The longevity is quite good for this type of scent, and the sillage is moderate.
