Comfort fragrances

Which fragrances give you that hug in a bottle feeling and you wear these fragrances as a little pick me up. Which ones are they?

For me The Dreamer Eau de Toilette is the best. I wrote a review with my reasoning that it makes me feel really relaxed and has this ability to make my skin and clothing feel soft and helps with restless nights.

My favourites are:

The Scent Private Accord for Her - So cozy, fuzzy and huggable.

This Is Her! - Creamy, sweet, chestnutty comfort.

For me mostly The Dreamer Eau de Toilette but sometimes when I want to feel "home", I wear L'Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum, or my talismanic Habit Rouge Eau de Parfum.
My very special hugger of a scent might though be No.09 - Vallée de Farney Perfume Oil. It's my teddy bear. Very fluffy.

Unknown Pleasures - it kept me sane through the pandemic.

Two types:

1) memory-triggering perfumes, which are anchored to a time or a person the thought of which is calming

L'Occitan (my husband's cologne)

Angel Eau de Parfum (a childhood memory)

2) physically relaxing aromas that work more like aromatherapy

Intuition Parfum (for the orange and roundness of amber)

Sa majesté la rose or any other rose-centered perfume

Is also quite comforting. It is a lovely warm bourbon vanilla fragrance that feels nice and inviting. It says to me a lovely winter night, there are big beautiful snow flakes falling and you’re sat next to a big beautiful fire hearing the crisp cracks of the wood as it burns with a warm glass of something that makes you feel cozy with either family or a loved one you are intimate with.
