Private Lessons

My friend called me excitedly - and giggled like a little girl.
What was going on?
She chuckled that she was now treating herself to a handsome 27-year-old.

I am naturally generous, but I indulged her by feigning outrage and asking for the details.

The solution to the mystery: She was taking piano lessons - and an attractive curly-haired music student was coming to her house.
Moreover, he had a soft touch on the keys.
This had apparently set her insides vibrating.

I happened to be wearing Private Accord - and thought it would fit perfectly with the private chords.

It is soft and feminine - but not heavy and intrusive.
The cocoa note is rounded by tonka and remains suspended due to the aquatic mandarin.
Osmanthus elegantly blends in.

The fragrance signals closeness - but doesn’t want to cuddle directly.
It is flirty - but won’t throw the two musicians off their rhythm.

So it’s a "tactful" fragrance - in many ways.

Shock in Love! Liquid Rondnoir??

Hello dear fragrance community!

First of all: I am not a direct fan of Hugo Boss. The fragrances I own were either gifts or samples. In perfumeries, I usually walk past Hugo Boss - at least for the last 10 years.

How did I discover this fragrance? By chance. At Douglas, there was a nice fragrance lady who held a strip under my nose... and shock in love. It’s as if I opened a box of Ferrero Rocher Rondnoir and the full aroma of chocolate came rushing towards me. I am obsessed with chocolate, and it hit the right nerve! The lady explained that Osmanthus is also included along with roasted tonka bean. LOVE! As a trained florist, I recognized the scent of Osmanthus and indeed found it again after thorough sniffing. Like a baseline, it runs from the beginning to the end of the composition. The tonka bean is, among other things, known in LeMale by JPG, and I already liked it there...
"This is, by the way, a women's fragrance and the PERFECT gift for your girlfriend, mother...." I had to interrupt her and said: "No, no, young lady, I’ll wear it myself!" She was a bit taken aback but maintained her composure. ;)
I let myself be sprayed to observe the development and how it behaves on my skin.

One might suspect that this gourmand fragrance is overwhelmingly heavy. I don’t feel that way. Rather, it’s a caressing scent that is very skin-friendly. After an hour, it feels softly creamy on the skin, not intrusive, yet clearly noticeable. I can only describe it as a veil. Seductive and yet inviting for cuddling... Perfect for the season. :)
Cacao Absolute is present from the very beginning. The hook and companion for up to 8 hours (tested over 3 days). The heart and top notes are very closely intertwined. Perfect pairing. What about the top note? Well, it’s as if someone peeks through the door and shyly calls out a "Hello." I like the scent of mandarin, but really present? No. I also don’t discover any freshness in the sense of citrus freshness in this fragrance.

Resonances? YES! "What is that? It smells so delicious!", "You smell cozy!"

Sillage noticeable, but not intrusive!

For whom? Definitely women from 20 onwards. Men? Be bold, or layer it. I did that with Oud Wood. You can do it, but it simply changes the character of The Scent Private Accord...

I often hear that I am androgynous, so it fits quite well. ;)

For those looking for something delicious, chocolate obsessed: Go for testing! :)

So beautiful!

I've had so many fragrances, but never has one made it to my signature scent. This one caught me off guard, but not right away. :)
When I first smelled it, applying it to my hand and bringing my nose close, I thought it was okay, but nothing more. I didn't think about it again for a while.
After about half an hour, a wonderful scent kept wafting around me. A dream. I couldn't pinpoint it and tried to figure out which of the other people had this scent on them. Until I realized that I noticed it every time I lifted my hands. It couldn't be.....I was the one wearing something so beautiful.
This perfume smells sooo delicious, like chocolate fondue, but not sticky or overly sweet. It smells warm, but it's a warmth that I can wear even in summer at 30 degrees. It's a scent you want to snuggle into; it's that pleasant. Combined with the mandarin, it doesn't overwhelm you, rather it shifts in feeling between warm and fresh.
It's not a scent that enters the room before you or lingers long after you leave. It enters the room WITH you, and whoever hugs you won't let go easily.
It's a gourmand scent, but it doesn't suffocate you. It's never intrusive, even if you apply one spray too many.
The nicest compliment I've received about a fragrance was from my husband regarding this perfume: This is how a woman should smell.

It's not that sweet at all

I spontaneously picked up this fragrance during my last shopping trip after testing it, and I kept my nose glued to my wrist for the rest of the day.
Due to previous misleading experiences with paper strips, I now only spray every fragrance on my skin for testing.
While this sometimes leads to less pleasant surprises when a scent doesn't appeal to my nose at all, it also brings about delightful experiences like this perfume.

The scent starts for me with grated mandarin peel. Slightly bitter-herb. However, this dissipates quickly and transforms into a warm, soft, caressing feel-good fragrance. The mandarin becomes fruitier, framed by a few flowers and vanilla.

Imagine a cozy living room with an open fireplace, the logs crackling, the embers warming, you snuggle into a large blanket and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. But not just any ordinary alpine milk chocolate. No, something darker, but not quite bittersweet.
And on a plate beside it, mandarins exuding their typical citrus-fruity scent.

The fragrance lasts very well, easily 8 hours or more for me. The bottle is beautifully designed, fits well in the hand, and the liquid shimmers golden-brown.
For me, this scent is not sweet at all, but definitely a candidate for the cold season. With one spray, it is also suitable for the workplace. In my opinion, it's not necessarily for very young girls.

My Boss: Mrs. Chocolate-Mandarin

Where do I best start here...

The scent is a beautiful gourmand fragrance, as one would suspect from the notes.
At the beginning, you immediately get a zesty mandarin that is dipped into warm, liquid, slightly bitter chocolate. - Really delicious.

For me, this fragrance is especially suitable for the colder seasons,
however, I also find myself sniffing the bottle again and again in the summer.

The longevity on my skin is very good; it easily lasts through a workday.
On clothing, it also lasts quite a bit longer.
The sillage is very pleasant, so you are well noticed without being annoying to anyone.

For me, a successful designer fragrance that accompanies me through autumn and winter.
Also great for or rather against cravings ;)

If you come across this scent, don't be shy and give it a try.
- You won't regret it.
