Good morning everyone ! If I were forced to choose just one perfume, it would be Pour Un Homme de Caron (1934) Eau de Toilette by Caron

Scent for the evening: Tosca Eau de Parfum I'm really flabbergasted every time I wear this. It is so very good for such a cheapy, I can hardly understand how it is possible that something this good can be so cheap! Performance is great as well. Lasts, and lasts and projects like crazy (in a good, sophisticated way). Stunning fragrance!

Is it the vintage ?

I used to love it. But the reformulated current version is a disaster in my opinion.

do you also think it has changed?

Le Lion de Chanel I simply love this one. But it's weird, each time I wear it, my nose needs a few days to recover.

Testing Promise from Frederic Malle today. So far I like it a lot.

Well, I think you are right. Former reformulations I found great and very close to the original (vintage), but my latest bottle is dissapoining in the long run. I still like it after first spray, but the drydown seems different, less versatile and more chemical. Didn't enjoy it as much during the day unfortunately....Won't be wearing it so often anymore...

Hello again @Aldest, had to look up this post because I just sprayed some of the EDT and it is a big difference! I like it a lot more than the EDP. It's brighter and I think more like my first encounter with Boucheron (long, long time ago) so maybe I ordered the EDP all this time by mistake, I got the EDT for my birthday (and only just tried it since then again, because my latest experiences with the EDP made me reluctant to wear it) So don't know it this is about reformulations because their batches say they are from the same period.
