Long lasting coffee notes

Hello everyone!

I've been searching forever for a coffee fragrance, and while I've had the chance to sample many, one common theme that I'm finding is that coffee notes tend to have poor longevity. In some ways this makes sense- a lot of coffee brewing techniques are designed to trap the volatile compounds of coffee in your cup precisely because the best tasting molecules evaporate so quickly. In some ways it makes no sense at all. There's no way that the same coffee I'm smelling on my hands for several hours after handling fresh roasted beans is the same coffee in a perfume that disappears in 30 minutes after application.

This forum post is intended as an open question. What are some of the best examples of a long lasting coffee note that you've encountered in perfumery?

I will add that I'm talking about the coffee note specifically and not the fragrance as a whole, otherwise the only fragrance people would recommend here is Kerosene's Followed

Probably the best coffee note I've encountered is Akro's Awake. Kilian Intoxicated is also quite good

I am a fan of Leviathan Eau de Toilette and find the coffee note there to be long lasting.

Little Song is very strong & long

Coffee Addict is maybe the purest form of coffee out there.

I LOVE Little Song! I had never heard of Meo Fusciuni, and the first time I went to Italy I just randomly sprayed it because I was attracted to the classy black & white photography packaging. Man, was I blown away! And everyone kept asking me everywhere I went what perfume I was wearing. I never had compliments for a perfume like that. Kalotinis, though... My partner thought that we hadn't thrown out the used coffee filters and they'd gone bad.

Awake Akro!. Strong black coffee straight away Earthy black cardamom with a powdery fragrance. 

Origins of the Collector - but be warned, it is very strong, and stinky to some.

Definitely Intoxicated, New Haarlem and Valentino Uomo (2014) Eau de Toilette

Amore Caffè not only coffe, but heavy ice cream and some caramel.

I’d rather one-up the Black Phantom - Memento Mori@Scentdelavie mentioned. And indeed Amore Caffè although that’s more like a cafe latte with vanilla than a proper coffee.

Yeah I meant that I don’t smell it because of all the cardamom. I know I have an unpopular opinion about it.
