Desert Suave Liquides Imaginaires 2018

Desert Suave is warm, sweet, and very comforting. Desert Suave was one of the first fragrances that got me interested in the brand overall and when I first sprayed it I was so hooked. Maybe it was the cardamom opening on the top that I found very delicious. It almost smells like a spice market in Morocco. The fragrance is sweetened by dates that add slight fruity nuance in it (in a very dense almost concentrated bees-wax like way) which you can recognize right away as you put your nose on it. I do get leathery aspects at the back that add depth and richness.⁣⁣

Desert Suave definitely transports me to an oasis somewhere deep in a desert. It's super soft and tender and very creamy and well-rounded. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Overall, I think Desert Suave is a winner from the brand. It's elegant and timeless in my opinion and I can only recommend sampling it. ⁣⁣

This is a lush desert oasis. Its smoking flavored hookah while eating honeyed fruit under a palm tree next a small body of water where desert roses and orange blossoms bloom. Its fruity sweet but not a gourmand, it has a dryness to it. This is a warm spicy scent that is fruity and juicy, with hints of floral and nutty notes. Its perfect all year round, giving warmth like a mulled drink during winter and fruitiness like a cocktail during summer.

This lasted all day on my skin, over 8 hours. The projection is pretty strong too, I could catch my own scent trail throughout the day. The 50ml is $136 and the 100ml is $200. Its one of my all time faves and I already have a full bottle.

The golden hour somewhere in the Arabian desert. A luxurious picnic with camels and spicy delicacies. Dates dripping with syrup, sprinkled with sesame seeds on a golden platter. Rose petals and orange blossoms scattered across a picnic blanket with an oriental pattern.

I am not sure if I want smell often so heavy and golden. May-be when going to the opera?

Dizzying, intoxicating, bewitching, almost opiate.

Cookies made with authentic, strong masala chai topped with candied orange peels. The dry, comforting heat of the sun on bare skin.

This opens very bright, fresh, and juicy. I get a lot of the citrus right off the bat. About an hour in though, it deepens and the warm, spicy notes begin to make their presence known.

First I have to say that this one is out of my confort zone, but as I loved l'île pourpre and fleuve tendre, and desert suave is the third part of triptyque, I had to get a sample.
This is an oriental no doubt, I have the spiciness, creating a tingling sensation in my nose from aromatics. And I have the sweetness, so sweet an sirupy making it gooey in a way, I feel like a date drenched in honey. Sadly I don't get the sesame note from it the sugary is too overbearing for me.

The potency of this one is strong, 2 (sample spray) was way enough, and when I took a shower this morning I was still able to smell it on my arm later in the day so we're at 24H+shower longevity.

Clearly not me, but I'm sure Desert suave will find its lovers
