I would love to get into leather fragrances. 0

I would honestly love to get into leather fragrances but i have yet to find an option that I feel like its worth it. The best that I have found so far would be Falcon leather by Matiere Premiere, although its a good scent that i really enjoyed, it turned into a charcoally woody scent for me rather quickly, so it wasnt quite the leather that I was hoping for. Somtimes I have to smell fragrances that I already know to fully enjoy them so feel free to suggest any fragrance no matter how known they are. I would appreciate any suggestions!

Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum has been my go-to since it got cold enough to wear my leather jacket, it comes off a bit heavy on the leather but not in the nauseating synthetic leather way, more like a luxury car type leather. Once it dries down it mellows out and lets the other notes shine, jasmine is most-forward to me and I really enjoy it. It also last a REALLY long time, projects and fills a room easily, I don't do more than 3 sprays and I believe they made the volume of liquid that sprays out smaller for this exact reason. Easily my favorite winter fragrance, but it's "fresh" enough where I feel like it might work for summer as well. I liked it so much I bought another 100ml bottle as a backup for my 50ml... well I vastly overestimated how little liquid fragrances spray, I've been using it at least once a week all winter and I'm barely through what seems like 10ml.

Dark Mystery I only have a decant of this but if I didn't have a second bottle of Ombre Leather I definitely see myself getting a small bottle of this. The leather in it smells kinda synthetic but just like the Tom Ford it mellows out in the drydown into a fresher more flowery version.

I struggle with leather personally, I find that it smells too mature on me, but these are my favs:

Ink Super unique tar-like leather accord, despite not containing leather. Usually leathery fragrances are combined with warm spices and woods, but this one smells distinctly cool and impersonal. Love how dark it is.

The Cobra & The Canary The lemon is sharp and contrast the leather nicely. A really beautiful dichotomy that balanced brightness and dampness.

The Silk Road perhaps a more classic leather with warm spices. The tobacco adds a lovely sweetness. Definitely the easiest to wear of the three.

Hope you find what you’re looking for!
