Women's pear
Turathi Electric by Afnan Perfumes is a floral-fruity fragrance crafted for both men and women, with an estimated suitability of 45% for men and 55% for women. It is anticipated to be one of the major trends for Summer 2025 and is best suited for the spring and summer seasons, particularly for evening wear.

- Longevity: Excellent (6 hours or more, depending on skin chemistry).
- Projection/Sillage: Strong, leaving a distinct and noticeable trail.

The fragrance clearly follows in the footsteps of the renowned and luxurious Blue Talisman by Ex Nihilo, while incorporating its own distinctive twist.

In conclusion: This fragrance is worth trying if you are seeking a potent, modern evening scent for summer that mirrors current high-end perfume trends. However, it is highly recommended to test it on your skin before purchasing due to its pronounced synthetic character.

Beautifully packaged mosquito spray
Introductory thoughts:
I quite like wearing "Blue Talisman | Ex Nihilo". This fragrance has an unobtrusive, fruity-diffuse aura and develops into a fine musky-skin scent as it progresses.
This is partly thanks to ingredients such as Akigalawood and Georgywood. The fragrance is generally well received everywhere as it is not too overpowering.

Now to Turathi Electric:
As I had already tested all the Blue Talisman dupes, I naturally wanted to try this fragrance, which was hyped on TikTok, and was, unsurprisingly, disappointed.

Immediately after spraying it on, the fragrance shows some resemblance to the original, but in such a synthetic, unpleasant way that I immediately felt the need to wipe it off again. And so I did. What remained (as I call it) was this lattafa amber note, which I deeply detest. (especially at the gym)

But anyway, I then sprayed the fragrance on again to test the progression as well as longevity and sillage. Sillage is practically non-existent. Maximum 20cm from the back of the hand. Longevity, equally disappointing. After 2.5 hours, the fragrance was virtually imperceptible.

Afnan manages to imitate the impression of a more potent Blue Talisman after the first spray. But anyone who knows the original will realize after two minutes at the latest that this is a deception. The fragrance is more reminiscent of cheap deodorant or even mosquito spray. Far too synthetic, too penetrating. The listed fragrance notes cannot be differentiated either. It might even work quite well as a mosquito repellent. But what can you expect at this price?

Conclusion:
Many have tried to copy this fragrance - but so far they have all failed.
The original has never been equaled, especially in terms of longevity and sillage. I can't explain how the positive reviews here come about. The perfumers have probably never had the real "Blue Talisman | Ex Nihilo" under their noses. If you are thinking of buying Turathi Electric, you should definitely try it from the souk first.

Thank you for your attention!

Much ado about nothing
"Blue Talisman | Ex Nihilo" remains unrivaled for me even after this release.

There was a lot of hype about Turathi Electric on Tiktok, and I received the bottling today.

5 sprays spread over the arm. Extremely synthetic in the opening, only after about 15 minutes do you understand where the journey is going.
The pear is nowhere near the complexity of "Blue Talisman | Ex Nihilo", the citrusy opening is so diminished by the musk + Ambrofix after a few minutes that after an hour all that remains is a soft pear.

To summarize:
Not as complex as its predecessor, much more synthetic and, on my skin, it is not very long-lasting. Perhaps the fragrance needs a few more months to mature.

For me, its big brother Turathi (Blue) is still the better choice.

Don't be fooled by paid influencers and make up your own mind.

The worst alternative
You can smell a certain similarity to the original, but this perfume smells worlds cheaper and has a sillage that is practically non-existent. I have never seen the quality of the ingredients deviate so drastically from the original as here. It really smells like a cheap drugstore deodorant. The notes are so squeaky and shrill, it really burns your nose, and there is no trace of freshness! Instead of clean, it smells stuffy and like stale water, something from an old, unkempt sauna where years of damp sweat have soaked into the wooden benches and produced a kind of putrid note. Honestly, even if the fragrance didn't cost €20, it wouldn't be worth it. I'd rather wear a 2 euro deodorant from a discount store, I get more out of it! Definitely not a recommendation to buy and I would put the similarity to the original at around 60% (maximum).

Great pear fragrance with great similarity to Blue Talisman
The Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum was already a real banger that I discovered for myself this spring and had certainly emptied about 20ml (which rarely happens with my large collection in this short period of time). This DNA of fruity sweetness and pleasant wood is simply a great no-brainer for everyday use, without drifting into irrelevance. This great modern DNA is fun. Lattafa made the start with Art of Universe, Afnan has followed suit. Already a great DNA that will sell well and is not too complex to achieve good results. The original from Ex Nihilo is a bit overpriced, even if it will easily beat these two dupes. I haven't tested the Lattafa, but I have a sample of this Afnan and have tested it extensively. In my opinion, it also plays in a different league, but it can still be worth buying. I think the Ex Nihilo is perfect for high demands and special occasions, but this Turathi Electric is absolutely sufficient for everyday use. As you know, this Turathi series is a really great one anyway.

The bottle and packaging of this Turathi range looks kind of cheap and somehow intentionally high-quality, but it doesn't really work. This is also noticeable in the incongruous lid. However, the look of the Electric is attractive and the content is what counts.
The content of this fragrance is really good and, at 7.7, quite modestly rated compared to other successful dupes. However, the original does not only have fans. Here, the similarity is very good, certainly around 80-90%. The fact that this Ex Nihilo uses clearly better fragrances is also noticeable here. The woody, slightly "transparent" cool notes convince me in the original, here the fruity-sweet pear is even more in the foreground. This already makes a harmonious impression and is not quite so far away. The fruity notes have a nice invigorating effect and a cool & casual vibe. In the foreground, of course, is the pear, here in combination with other juicy, tangy notes with a light citrus. Soft and woody notes are added from the heart note onwards. Ambroxan, cedarwood and soft orange blossom. In the base, the usual notes of musk, amber and vanilla provide a great finish. Of course, this creation is also synthetic, as is the original, but there is no hidden synthetics here - it is deliberate and charming. Even for people who have the original, this would be a great fragrance to preserve the original and use it for less special occasions. Otherwise, you can also buy this Electric if you can accept some compromises.
One drawback is, of course, the performance: it lasts about half as long as the original. The sillage is quite good at the beginning with the pear, then becomes much softer from hour 3. I estimate the shelf life at 6 hours. The original lasts me almost the whole day.

All in all, for roundabout 40€ a 90ml, a great alternative to get a great taste of a high-priced niche fragrance. Not quite on the same wavelength in some areas, but given the price difference, not a deal breaker.

A trendy unisex summer scent offering a powerful, fruity-citrus profile with a noticeable synthetic twist, inspired by Blue Talisman.

I bought my first cheap fragrance, and I surprisingly received numerous compliments the very first day I wore it to work.

It's decent, but that's all. The pear comes off a bit overly ripe and takes away the freshness. Performance is terrible!
