Art of Universe Lattafa Pride 2025

I love Blue Talisman and wear it almost every week. I was hoping for this to be close so I can wear it to the gym. I've seen reviews online about how this perfume is 99% (since when fragrances are maths?) the same to Blue Talisman. Big letdown when I got it in the mail and smelled for the first time. At first smell it smells nothing like Blue Talisman, the only thing near from it it's de citric pear note, however on Art Of Universe it's not subtle at all, IT'S A PUNCH IN YOUR FACE, SYNTHETIC AND NOT PLEASING AT ALL. Nor did it last 10+hours as they say. While Blue Talisman feels more real and well blended, Art Of Universe smells heavy and in your face, almost like Bharara King did to Erba Pura, however Bharara King is closer to Erba Pura than Art Of Universe to Blue Talisman.

I don't see myself wearing this perfume at all or finding any time in my personal life where I would wear this perfume at all, I rather skip this bubbly gummy in your face synthetic pear. I understand if someone likes Blue Talisman and don't have the budget for it, just don't let yourself be lied to, this is not the same as the original, just keep that in mind. If you don't have the budget for the original then go for this one, sure it's not a bad smelling perfume, it just isn't what they are promising.

Reviewing middle eastern fragrance it's hard since some people really get offenden because they think it's smart and are hacking the industry. Middle eastern fragrances are cheap and honestly you get something worth your money. I'm not saying this is a bad fragrance, I'm just saying it's not the same thing as the origina or close.

If an influencer it's trying to play maths and tell you it's 95-99% close to the original, it's not. If we're playing maths with a perfume, I would say it's around 33% close to the original, it just gives you a close idea to what a fresh citric peary scent is (just an idea since Art Of Universe it's nowhere near as fresh as Blue Talisman.)

Conclusion: If you're on a budget, it's great and you're getting what you're paying for. If you're trying to smell like Blue Talisman and someone told you it smells just like the real deal, it does not.

Scent & Impressions

The opening is citrusy, fruity, and sweet. The mandarin is very noticeable in the first few minutes. As it dries down, the pear becomes the star — soft, sweet, and really pleasant. Honestly, it smells like a sweet pear juice.

It’s a very versatile fragrance and works well in mild to cool weather, especially during spring or early summer. I think it’s not made for extreme heat, but it really shines in more balanced, comfortable temperatures.

I don't understand why Lattafa feel the need to add twists to everything. Their best fragrances are the rare clones that are straight clones. Anytime they add a twist, they ruin it!

This has a very heavy floral note that pulls the rest of the scent profile far away from Blue Talisman. BT is a perfectly unisex fragrance with great performance. I think Art of Universe has even better performance, but it's so unbalanced and leans very feminine. The end of the drydown brings out some horrible synthetic patchouli note in my skin that I've smelled in several other Arabian clones, from several different clone houses.

I literally had to scrub this off of me. I do not like it. Pay the extra $10 and get Maison Asrar Legacy. The longevity on Legacy is not quite as good, but is neck and neck with Blue Talisman. Projection is softer, but it smells so much better than Art of Universe.

I love a good slightly-feminine-leaning-unisex-but-not-too-much scent, and this absolutely hits that mark for me. I can't attest to it as a dupe as I've never tried the original, but as a standalone fragrance it's become one of my go-tos.

Toted as inspired by Ex Nihilo's Blue Talisman and lands some similarities without trying to be a straight clone. If you love that vibe and DNA but can't justify the price tag, this is a real option instead of a compromise.

The heart is where this one actually lives. Pear pushes forward fast and holds the spotlight for a while before settling into the background. After that it doesn't sit still. Every so often a fresh fruity breeze drifts back up, almost like the pear note wakes back up on your skin. My guess is the volatile pear esters keep resurfacing as they compete with the musk base underneath, so it never fully vanishes, it just takes breaks. The ginger up top can run a little sharp for the first few minutes too.

My teenage nephew made this his summer scent this year. It wears young and it wears easy. Projection sits in moderate territory rather than filling a room, but it holds on for a solid stretch before fading down to skin scent. My own go to move before the gym is YSL Y on the neck and chest like usual, then a spray of this on each wrist as the pear keeps just enough presence there to cut through without fighting the Y for attention.

If this fragrance were a superhero it would be Miles Morales. Same basic power set as the guy who came before him, but with his own twist, looser, and scrappier. He shows up in bursts of energy the same way this pear does, then keeps swinging through the rest of the day instead of stepping aside, still very much in the fight, just doing it his own way.
