Caramelized sweet wood
Another perfume of Lattafa that conquers me, this, in particular, has an arabesque and exotic vibe that you will not see in Western perfumes, and that, for my taste, is a plus, since it is an aroma with soul, easily recognizable and with the one that did not go unnoticed.
The perfume starts with a saffron geranium with rose shades and a sweet little raspberry dot, beautiful. A warm aroma, a little rough, something astringent and a tad fruity, and under all that, you feel a faint brush of oud wood, very vaporous and ethereal, but of great beauty. After this exit, the oud next to the geranium take more body, but not a dirty or wild oud, no, the oud is in a calm way, almost caramellated by amber and with a camphorated and rough tone by the geranium. This mixture of oud and geranium is accompanied by a multitude of musky, smoky and slightly fruity nuances, which make the aroma an olfactory pleasure. The drying is an oud ambarado slightly musky and with smoky nuances, an authentic arabesque preciousness. Among its notes, vanilla is not included, but throughout its development I perceive it slightly, or at least, the sensation of it, accentuating in the final drying.
The packing is correct, the box is of standard quality, the bottle of thick glass with a plastic buffer, but that is not so bad either, and if we analyze its quality / price ratio, we are winning.
The performance is extraordinary, with an incredible skin duration, reaching over 12 hours. The wake is heavy, at least, the first two or three hours, then low to moderate and then progressively falling to die level with skin.
Perfume of cold and temperate climates and of use, preferably, nocturnal. In summer, better do not approach him, it could be a weapon of mass destruction, I do not even want to think how he has to irradiate this with heat ...
If you like, literally, the oriental sweet and woody ones, you have to taste it, a woody, warm and mysterious perfume, conceived for the very same Sherezade. 100% recommended
