floral summer

This is a more floral than citrus summer scent, the floral part is very masculine though. The floral part is almost sweet with a spark of citrus.
It does remind of a french riviera summer in the sense of an euro beach close to some small mountains with lots and lots of vegetation, not much of a desert beach vibe.
A nice change from all the 100000 citrus fragrances out there, smells classy an summery.
Seems like anything Italian from mancera is more citrusy, and anything french is more floral.

The extrait of french riviera

The French Riviera is not easy to define.
It is a place that immediately makes you fall in love, with its warm sand, its crystal-blue sea, its natural finesse that you can feel everywhere, even in the air.
A sea breeze that, although I am used to smell it, looks different... more gracious, more gentle.
French Riviera embodies these aromas, with its freshness, its elegance and its slightly saline touches.
A fragrance with soft, slightly citrusy, marine scents, with a clean, delicate finale.
Beautiful, in a way it transports me to a world of light-heartedness and beauty, irresistible.

Fleeting Aromatic Pool Water

This is as if pool water and spa water came together to have a baby. This is a luxury hotel pool that is outside in the sun, sparkling and crisp. You have just gotten out of a spa treatment and are now relaxing by the pool drinking the citrus infused water. The wind gently blows and brings the sent of flowers from the hotel's carefully curated garden. Its a chlorine scent but not overpowering like the pool you use at the gym. The citrus is lightly sweet and not bitter. Making it bright and refreshing. The florals are gently underneath it all, nothing distinctly stands out but it isn't generic smelling. This is a very crowd pleasing scent but a little bit boring. I say that because there are so many interesting notes listed but everything is so gentle that this fragrance feels very fleeting.

This is a light aromatic fragrance for about a hour or two but then becomes a skin scent. This fragrance also lasted about 4 hours on skin and clothing, which is unfortunately. Usually, when I spray my clothes, I can get some extra wear out of a light fragrance but that was not this case this time. The fragrance is available in one size, 120ml for $190.

Best perfume in my collection,

Absolutely gorgeous perfume, smells like money , yacht trip in dubai mid summer , ocean breezes hitting you while the smell of your sunscreen hits you gently, this is that vibe in a bottle . Also being from mancera means good performance, it has an amazing longevity , tho projection is not as loud as their other fragrances , still , loud enough that people around you can comfortably smell it .10/10

Not your summer jam

Sometimes, a band or a one off singer will launch a top summer hit and then will dissapear forever, it has happened countless times.

However, there are some songs which can survive that and be used also next year and next and so one, the most populars coming into my mind are Despacito from Fonzi or Bailamos from Enrique Iglesias. Funny thing, they are both Spanish ..

What this has to do with the Mancera, well you will see in the next lines..

We all know that Montale/Mancera are launching many perfumes per year, sometimes good sometimes meh .. and especially in the right seasons, I would say. French Riviera came not too late after the Melody of the Sun, another nice citrussy scent from the French brand.

I got my sample with the Jasmin Exclusif order and what a nice surprise this is .. it does not have any hint of synthetic smell to me and even if it has a certain sweetness, it will not be too much during the hot days, I only tested this up to 30 degrees Celsius .. I cannot say how will it perform above that.

It has a good longevity and it smells nice at any time when you will sniff it: initially, after 2 hours and also after 5 when it´s almost fading away.

And now to the start of my review, this is a summer hit from Mancera which only the time will tell if next year is already forgotten .. but for my nose, this smells like a nice summery smell which is here to stay. Thanks for reading.
