Silver Mountain Water clearly inspired Mr. Pierre
Big disappointment.

Smells much like as Silver Mountain Water, with the same poor longevity.

Not worth it. Bad job Mr. Pierre.

Still looking for the fruits...
The vetiver is definitely distinguished with the particularly bitter, not disgusting smell ...
It is also a bit citrus with bergamot and lime to give battles over who will dominate!
You can feel in the background its wooden aura without being superior to the vetiver though!

Decision Aid
I was speculating on a Montale and had several creations in the running, which then narrowed down to three contenders.

If my husband is my companion, he confidently points to a bottle and declares unequivocally: This one.
If my father is present, he says: Take all three.
Men are decisive - and want to "get it done."

If my friend is there, she says: Spray all three - and we'll stroll for another hour.
A time-consuming, but safe option.
So we strolled through the city with my three favorites Mango Manga, Powder Flowers, and Boise Fruite.

All three scents seemed suitable at first - but unfortunately, the Manga suddenly turned musty and the Powder Flowers transformed into soap bubbles.

Only the Boise changed little, remaining pleasantly woody-fruity on my skin, and faithfully fulfilling its title.
No surprises - but also no unpleasant ones.

The woody, forest-like scent receives a bitter fruitiness from Petitgrain, reminiscent of the coolness of Neroli.
A sense of calm emanates from the fragrance.
Perhaps a bit of forest tranquility.
The lime is citrusy fresh, but not sour.
Vetiver is the loose forest floor on which the delicately bitter violet thrives.
Sandalwood embraces, and a note of eucalyptus wafts above.

This final chord was truly a surprise - but a welcome one.

For me, the winner was now clear.

Boise Fruite is what it seems to be.

I appreciate this honest attitude - not just in fragrances.

Whether rotten or toxic - this fruit bowl is impressive!
I have also tested a few Oud-foreign Montale fragrances like Sandflowers, but still, when you think of Montale, you first think of the Oud-rose combos. This is probably also because most fragrances in other directions tend to come off as experimental and somewhat piercingly clumsy. Except for Chocolate Greedy, that one is a real gem. Where does Bois Fruite stand in the internal Montale ranking?

Pretty much in the middle - it has interesting and unique aspects, but also sides that induce migraines and come off as simply piercing and rotten. Piercing, metallic, sterile, caustic, medicinal, woody, crushed, slightly rotten fruits, sparkling citrus cocktail, vetiver grass, and distorted wood. Here, almost everything is distorted and upside down. It even has a slightly salty-sea note. But I find it somehow toxic green, biting, and aggressive - definitely a scent that wants to be in the spotlight and makes you curious to smell and wait for how it develops and becomes calmer and more balsamic. I think it gets more beautiful but also less special.

Bottle: I think a green tone would have suited this strange wooden fruit bowl better.
Sillage: Montale never holds back here - I’m curious about their musk fragrances.
Longevity: 8 hours even under the most adverse conditions and during sports!

A completely different fruit scent that partly reminds me of the piercing Creed style. But it’s precisely the synthetic-scratchy prick note that fascinates and simultaneously repels. It’s not particularly beautiful, but definitely a different approach and a fragrance that urges you to smell at your wrist, then you wrinkle your nose... but then you quickly smell it again. Fascinating, even if it’s not one of the best from the brand.

Fruits That I Like
Although I don't like woody and fruity scents at all, this fragrance fascinates me greatly.
Yes, it has something.
Somehow, I can't take the fragrance pyramid entirely seriously. According to that, I shouldn't like this scent.

Boisé Fruité starts immediately with very fruity and woody notes. But there is something else that makes this fragrance so pleasant. Something sweet and balsamic appears, which I can't identify.

The top note reminds me a bit of Caipirinha, so sweetened limes, but the scent is by no means sugary.
Later, a slightly bitter note comes in, which blends beautifully with the sweetness to create a wonderful harmony.
I can confirm a delicate medicinal note, but it doesn't bother me at all; rather, it integrates very nicely.
I am truly impressed and amazed at myself.

I don't like it that much, the fruit is somehow a bit over the top - like it's slightly fermented, the good Mysore sandalwood doesn't come through at all.

Very woody, slightly fruity with a masculine touch. I really like it.

Reminds me instantly of Nishane Hacivat. It seems a bit more synthetic to me, but still quite good.

Masculine scent, more woody than fruity (on me), with a scratchy sandalwood. Probably quite nice on men.
