If you dont like cedar wood dont buy then...

Some reviews are just stupid..
"I like woody but this is too much woody"
For me the note of cedar wood is my favorite, and this scent is just that, cedar wood overdose. I love this perfume, I use it together with some of my favorite perfumes to amplify the cedar note. Nothing cheap smelling, and the cedar note is realistic and have great performance.
"I'm not the woody type, but I bought it anyway and dont like it"
Well Sherlock, if you dont like wood dont buy a cedar wood bomb like Hala..........
The cedar wood scent add masculinity to any perfume.
My favorite cedar perfume is Splendid wood from YSL, is very expensive so I spray first Hala generously.
I also use Hala together with Bentley from men absolute, another amazing 10/10 scent that remind me of the discontinued Gucci pour Homme 1.
For me layering perfumes, mix them, will allow you to save your more expensive scents and also amplify some notes.
I own the amazing Mahir Black from Lattafa with a prominent tobacco note and use it together with other more expensive tobacco scents.
My fav scent is Ombre Nomade, but is so overpriced that I bought Royal Night from the woods collection and Lueur d'spoir from Emir and use them all together to get a strong amazing scent that last long and in this way my Ombre Nomade will last much longer.

You get what you pay for

I really don't understand the positive reviews of this one. For me this is cheap and smells cheap. I think it's a fantastic idea, but poorly executed. The cedarwood is so dominant, that the other notes hardly have any chance. I've always been saying that I liked dry, woody fragrances, but this one is too much even for me. And the bottle really takes getting used to.

Don't judge a book by its cover. - Fresh, natural cedarwood with frankincense

The low price and the design of the bottle put me off at first. I was worried that Hala would smell artificial, cheap and over the top. But since I love incense and the scent of wood so much, I gave it a chance after all because of the positive reviews here. And, what can I say, it's an absolute dream!

So true to nature, so great. It smells like the fresh wood shavings of cedar and Swiss stone pine, delicately steamed with incense. I've never smelled a perfume so true to nature. An incense fragrance that doesn't smell like sauna infusion or pine needles, not like a cold bath, not sweet, but dry and woody. The pepper lends a pleasant spiciness, like the spice of cedar wood. Hala remains gentle, somewhat smoky and fresh, clean. Not freshy, but fresh, like juicy, freshly sawn wood. Not clean like shower gel or detergent. It has the pure kind of cleanliness that can only be found in nature. Like a cool fall morning after it has rained all night. You open the window and the earth is washed clean from all the rain, the air is cool and clear. Not far away, someone fires up the fireplace, while dew-covered grasses glisten in the half-shadow of the autumn morning.

Hala is what I would love in a man. That's the scent of a man who builds you a house with a sauna on the edge of the forest, who hunts and fishes and knows how to build a fire. The ideal guy, but one with style. And if you are a woman - close to nature and love the smell of wood and incense, you like to collect herbs when you go hiking - to draw a picture here - then Hala could also be a fragrance for you. Already distinctively masculine, but still unisex enough for me to really love wearing it myself. Hala is a perfume that smells like an expensive niche and competes with a cheap designer in terms of price. You can turn a blind eye to the flacon design.

Cedarwood & pepper in perfection, but unfortunately not for me

I got carried away by all the positive reviews and decided to buy a bottle of Hala I'm not the woody type now, but I thought ok maybe it's a perfume that might appeal to me.

I've tested it several times now and I keep asking myself the question: what occasion do you actually wear a fragrance like this for? The opening smells like realistic pepper and nutmeg.
No sweetness, no freshness, just very spicy.
Unfortunately, as I said, so realistic that I think I smell real pepper or nutmeg.
Unfortunately not a big fan of ️

It doesn't get any better for me in DD.
The pepper remains prominent, joined by subtle labdanum and a lot of cedarwood.
Like everything else in this perfume, the cedarwood smells very realistic.
After just under half an hour, I notice incense.
This gives the fragrance a very slightly smoky note.
You have to like it, otherwise it can be exhausting.

Ultimately, it remains a peppery, woody, slightly smoky fragrance, without a hint of freshness or sweetness.
Very mature, very masculine, I can't imagine it on a woman for the life of me.
Therefore not unisex for me.
Rather on a man aged 30+.
But of course everyone can wear how or what they want, it's not like that.

The performance is ok.
Three sprays on my arm and chest are enough for me to notice it easily for about an hour.
After that, I might go fragrance blind.
Still doesn't seem to be a strong performer, but it's not a breeze either.
I would say the longevity is better than the radiance.

If you want to buy Hala, you have to ask yourself: am I a fan of pepper and cedar wood? I can clearly answer no, which is why I only give this fragrance 5.5/10 points.
Qualitatively not a bit bad, I don't smell anything synthetic here.
It just doesn't suit MY taste.
Fortunately, tastes differ, but still not a candidate for a blind buy.
