Tonka heaven in the making!!

This one is in my opinion an exact copy of “Rosendo Mateu Nº 5 Floral, Amber, Sensual Musk” just a tad denser with a prominent Tonka and caramel notes which replace the strong burned rubber feel in Mateu.
Definitely unisex and a niche quality offering from Lattafa, which resembles nothing they have done before. Longevity is massive on this one 8 hours plus, sillage is great as well, especially the first 2 hours. Very linear, Sophisticated and sensual, would definitely wear on a date, or an intimate setting, just go very easy on the sprays.

lattafa ishq al shuyukh gold

This is a sweet tonka bean and vanilla bomb. It is very heavy, dense and creamy. I would wear this on a date night or in a club. Definitely a fall/winter scent, this would be too cloying in high heat! Projection is good, longevity is excellent. 4 spray is more than enough. Overall its very nice if you like these type of fragrances.

Niceee & Sophisticated

Now at first, this one and I had a sort of rough time. Maybe because when it came it was the butt bread of August so it was HOT. Good thing I didn’t give up on it and saw it through/trusted the process. I let it macerate. This past Saturday, decided to give it another go and was PLEASANTLY surprised. This was the first time for my experience that a maceration has went RIGHT. I no longer smelt the wreak of leather/suede but instead that sweet caramel and vanilla came THROUGHHH. It’s SO lovely. My boyfriend originally loved it but now I’m siding with him. I love it too and will be wearing it this winter!! This is most DEF a cold weather scent though.

A good alternative to Rosendo Mateu 5

Well, I say inspiration but this is a clone. It's as if they entered the Rosendo Mateu factory and stole a tank full of Rosendo's liquid

This is a bomb of sweetness (tonka bean), species, vanilla and musk, just like Rosendo Mateu 5

And since they seem to have destroyed the original fragrance via reformulation... this is an excellent alternative.

It's also long lasting. More than the usual 8 hours of a work day.

Leathery tonka with edgy roughness

Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold by Lattafa is a not much hyped fragrance that resembles to my nose a very expensive fragrance, Rosendo Mateu n5 (tested in Exsence) . It’s a Leathery tonka cream vanilla sweet scent with some roughness from the leather which smells like suede here.
