Cherries In Church
I'm unfamiliar with any of the perfumes this is supposed to dupe, so here is my opinion completely detached from that context:

The first hit is a almost sickly artificial cherry note, heady and sweet. Soon it merges into a more creamy amaretto with a distinct marzipan edge. The cherry sticks around as the real heart of this fragrance comes forward: frankincense, dark and resinous, backed by woody notes I'm still too much of a noob to actually distinguish properly.

I'm personally not fond of cherry in fragrances, so for me the real beauty of this is in the drydown. The frankincense and wood base lasts the whole day, in particular on clothing. After 6+ hours, all that's left of that initial cloud of cherry is a faint hint of marzipan. The incense, though, is delicious, and the reason I've been enjoying La Collection D'Antiquités 1505 despite my indifference to the top notes.

A well-crafted fragrance that I won't rebuy as a full bottle simply because I don't care about the cherry aspect. To me, it reads as a true unisex scent, perfect for the colder seasons.

La Cherry 1505
I consider this creation as a stand-alone without any comparisons in the area: Dupes/ Blagiate or similar :)

It all started with my love for cherries, which my wife loves to wear. Then I discovered this masterpiece.

Curtains up for a very old, well-aged cherry liqueur. Is it from the 16th century?

I was stunned for the first 10 minutes after spraying it on. Really cherry liqueur, or a homemade wine? At first glance, very masculine and not a trace of unisex.

It makes you want to take a sip. But let's stay objective. My preference has lost nothing here:D

For the first 10 minutes, the cherry literally screams at me, you and everyone standing next to it, until it quickly but really qualitatively, gently and softly calms down.

The incense slowly but surely emerges. This helps the fragrance to really unfold.

It becomes smoky and sweet. Without these alcoholic notes more in the background.

The transformation is complete and becomes a gourmand unisex fragrance that is softer and more seductive.

The whole thing is rounded off with a spiciness that ensures that the fragrance does not get lost. It is intensified so that it lasts much longer. A great fall/winter fragrance.

The fragrance has an oriental/European touch, which I think is really great. A certain twist remains in my nose though, so I can't say what it is.
Maybe a little vanilla? Or is it the balsam? Or a mixture of the two.

After more than 12 hours on my skin, only the cherry remains. Sillage is above average. At about 5 hours. Maybe a little longer, I get nose-blind quickly.

In my opinion, it is a successful product that a man can also wear well and does not slip completely into the feminine.

Although it sometimes costs between 40-60 euros, I would still say that it is a P/L cracker.

Cherry for the man, cherry for the woman, love at first sniff, I know that for sure:)

Delicious cherry gourmand, but not a good cherry smoke dupe
All in all, a delicious gourmand with a cherry theme. I smell predominantly sweet cherry, incense, saffron and marzipan. The fragrance is very different, darker, more masculine than Lost Cherry, but can certainly be worn by women just as easily due to its sweetness.

The question I'm sure many are asking is whether 1505 is similar to Cherry Smoke. I've seen reviews on YouTube comparing it to Cherry Smoke and I have to disagree, as far as I can tell with my slowly fading memory of Cherry Smoke. The Cherry Smoke is classically smoky in my memory (no incense) and this smoky note is more clearly differentiated from a differently composed cherry, as is recognizable in many expensive fragrances. In contrast to the CS, the 1505 clearly bears the Arabian signature that we already know from many Lattafas, is sweeter and also smells of marzipan to me, which I can't remember in the Cherry Smoke.

The longevity and sillage are very decent, the square bottle, which I don't like, is certainly a matter of taste, but I think it's quite pretty with the clock and quite detailed.

Conclusion: If you were hoping for a dupe, whether of Cherry Smoke or Lost Cherry, I would advise against it. But if you are looking for a rather sweet, oriental cherry gourmand with incense, this fragrance could be something for you. Whether I will buy it with the very present marzipan note is questionable, but overall it is a beautiful fragrance. It's just a shame that many of the good Lattafas are now simply being marketed under Lattafa Pride, so that you have to spend considerably more on fragrances that were previously available from Lattafa in comparable quality. When it comes to fragrances that approach designer prices, I'm actually out, because we know that the fragrances are produced cheaply.

Dark unisex cherry fragrance at a top price
It has to be said that cherry is currently an extremely popular note. You can find lots of duplicates of Lost Cherry and other brands are also launching cherry fragrances on the market. Cherry is of course a note that is quite interesting and relatively new in perfume. At least I can't remember a cherry fragrance that was on the market years or decades ago. At least not one that was extremely well-known or caused a hype. Lost Cherry was already a pioneer when it came to this note. This cherry note only became really popular in the last two years, especially when all the dupes appeared and really took off. The dupes from Lattafa and Maison Alhambra are also permanently sold out.
Here you get a cherry scent from Lattafa Pride. The Pride line is a little more expensive, but you can also tell from the fragrances. You get very high-quality fragrances, where you probably also have a higher budget for the raw materials. Fragrances that I tested from this line seem extremely high-quality and could also be sold at a higher price. The bestsellers are of course the dupes of Grand Soir, Imagination, Paragon and Nebras.

With this 1505, you get a cherry fragrance that is very wearable by both sexes. Lost Cherry will be too sweet and fruity for some men. It's not easy to wear, especially as a mature man. Here you get a fragrance that is more along the lines of Cherry Smoke. Of course, you get a great strong cherry note, but it is not quite as sweet and is accompanied by balsamic-smoky and slightly liqueur-like notes. A slightly mentholated note also gives it a slight "Airwaves" vibe. Due to the balsamic notes, this fragrance has a very cozy flow. There are also warm woody notes that round off this cherry DNA well. The incense note is not too strong and provides a subtle smoky touch. The spice in this fragrance is minimal, so that this fragrance remains very soft overall and convinces with this cozy, rather autumnal aura. This fragrance is best suited to cool to mild temperatures and is perfect to use as a "transitional fragrance".
Performance is in the medium range. Sillage is initially good, but after a while it becomes rather skin-deep. The durability should be around 8 hours. This sillage is perfect for everyday situations.

Overall, a great cherry fragrance that has a very high-quality effect and a great warm base. The cherry note lingers for a long time and you get a beautiful fragrance that has a great autumnal vibe.

Another cherry
Cherry really came through in 2024 and was once everywhere. As a huge fan of Khaltat Night Eau de Parfum, I wanted to try this Lattafa release.

La Collection d'antiquités 1505 starts with a dark cherry and a kind of almond. Dark and spicy. There is no smoke in the classic sense here; a surge of cold incense is added after around 1 hour and remains until the end.

The cherry is not tangy and not fruity, but dark and spicy. Basically very solid, with a rather (below) average longevity and sillage.

Woody, spicy, dark. But the cherry fades too quickly for me. Unfortunately.

Cherry and sweet-smoky resins harmoniously balanced. Not a direct dupe to Cherry Smoke, but a lovely fragrance in its own.

If this had another 2 hours longevity it would be my signature. Astoundingly perfect apart from lasting 6-7h after maturation.
