Creamy Gourmand Vanilla
Wow i don‘t even know where I should begin….
So first of all this Fragrance exceeds all expectations you espect off it when buying it.
Art Of Nature II by Lattafa is kicking in with a touch of a creamy gourmand vanilla , which is done very nice. It doesn‘t feel syntetic at all which you could except because of its Price Tag….
Then the Fragrance keeps surprising you with a slight fresh kick off the apple and the bergamot.
The Sillage and Longevity are amazing in my opinion and are outstanding my PDM-Althaïr.
As a conclusion this Fragrance exceeds all expcectations and even the original parfume it has been made after! Well done to Lattafa!!

Althair in...longer?
I compared Art of Nature II and PDM Althair directly (on the falcons, on testers, on skin) and I am convinced by the Lattafa.
That the Lattafa Pride Art of Nature II is not just another perfume that wants to go in a similar scent direction as Althair, but aims to be a shameless 1 to 1 copy, is beyond question.
This is, however, the most faithful copy of a perfume I have ever smelled. The scents smell 95-99% the same. Any differences that one might detect are either truly minimal, a figment of the imagination, or due to the attempt to make the original seem better, because of the sympathy points one has for Parfums de Marly.

I fancy that the Lattafa lasts longer than the Althair. What I mean by that: The original undergoes a development earlier. It remains at its core still Althair, but changes slightly. The Lattafa smells longer (almost permanently) like Althair does at the beginning, before its development.
Since I prefer the Althair to stay exactly as it is, the Lattafa is the better alternative for me.

Sillage and longevity are nearly identical for both (namely very good), possibly even slightly better with the Lattafa.

The falcon is a matter of taste. I don’t find it ugly; somehow the 2 horses on the front have a certain charm. But beautiful is different.

I am a big PdM fan myself, have 3 in my collection, and the next ones are definitely coming, but here I will reach for the Lattafa as soon as it is available in Germany again.

Cocoa with Cardamom Crumbles
I couldn't test both at the same time, but shortly after I sold my "Althaïr | Parfums de Marly," the Art of Nature II arrived at my place.
I liked Althair, but not in the way of "I also like it for 150 €."
And that's where the latest Lattafa Pride release came into play, for a fifth of the price in my case.

And what you get for this, I'll reveal right away, is definitely worth it.
I get one or two associations from the scent: primarily a milky cocoa, so to speak metaphorically - two teaspoons of cocoa powder instead of four.
On top of the foam, also figuratively speaking, are cardamom crumbles that you can taste with every sip.
Or the full-bodied, gourmand full milk chocolate with 40% cocoa content and embedded cardamom pieces that give the scent a certain rounded spiciness.

That's basically the scent for me.
With that, everything essential has been said, and I'll spare you the talk of "mm yes, here I smell 10% more orange blossom." Let's not kid ourselves, who is going to distinguish this scent from the original? It's not going to happen.
For the few times I wear the scent in winter each year, this is completely sufficient.
In my opinion, the Althaïr simply isn't worth it anymore, unless you have money to burn, because then you get the prettier bottle from PdM.

The bottle is a thing of its own, as is often the case with the Pride series. But the sprayer is good, and you can see the fill level on the side. So it's not a bad bottle.

You need to know this!

Model almost 1:1 implemented
I have been eager for this Art of Nature II for a long time, and now I finally managed to get 2 bottles. The model "Althair | Parfums de Marly" was already very hyped after its release. Of course, not affordable for everyone, so many are looking for cheaper alternatives. The "Club Black | Mercedes-Benz" was considered a good alternative, but in my opinion, it is a bit further away from this Parfums de Marly. Of course, it is usually just a matter of time before Lattafa takes on the challenge. This brand really has very good perfumers who do a great job for this price segment. The Art of Nature II is already very hyped because it is said to be very, very similar. I can absolutely confirm this. My Althair on the wish list is put on hold for now because of this fragrance.

Of course, you need a bit of luck to get this one. When it is available, you shouldn't wait too long to order. But it's worth it if you like the PdM original. Prices range from 30-40€ for 100ml, and many take advantage of supply shortages and sell it at significantly higher prices. Not recommended, as sometimes you need a bit of patience.
The packaging is similar to the Art of Arabia series, but here in gold. It looks quite impressive. However, I find these bottles (also with Art of Nature I) really cheap. They come off as totally trashy like many of the Lattafa Pride fragrances. But the bottle works perfectly, and that is the main thing.

Most "dupes" do not completely convince. They are usually really good for the price range, but in my opinion, they rarely replace the high-quality original. Easily 90% usually do not satisfy me completely, as somehow that certain something is always missing. This is different here. Especially in the top note, you get almost a 1:1 implementation of the original. Even though the pyramid has a lot of its own character, there are hardly any noticeable differences. This Art of Nature II is possibly slightly fruitier due to apple & mandarin; otherwise, this fragrance offers that wonderful gourmand vibe with a lot of orange blossom. The notes of cinnamon, praline, and vanilla are also very present here and smell simply irresistible. Similar to the original, you have to be able to handle this strong sweetness. This wonderful creaminess is also convincing here and will surely bring many compliments. The base is also very pleasant with a lot of wood, creamy musk, and modern Ambroxan synthetic like the original. Vanilla sweetness in the base is noticeable throughout. For the first 2-3 hours, this Althair is almost 1:1 implemented, and the further development also goes in a similar direction.
The performance is also quite similar. The PdM is, in my opinion, a bit better, and the sillage is slightly better in the later stages. But you can live well with that, as the first 2-3 hours have a lot of projection. It's worth it if you're looking for a louder creamy-sweet gourmand.

Overall, another really great dupe. PdM fragrances are surprisingly easy to dupe, as several have already emerged, often from Lattafa. I love the Parfums de Marly fragrances, but they are a bit overpriced. You can buy this one without worries if you like Althair.

Althair vs. Art of Nature II
I had to rewrite the review because I received the wrong sample. The Althair was not Althair at all but Herod. So here’s the correct comparison :D
This comparison was made on my skin and this review will also be posted for Althair.

Since I have both and got Art of Nature II as a more affordable alternative, I can keep it short: Yes, but no, but yes.

First of all, both fragrances smell very similar. If you just want to know if AoN2 is a good dupe for little money: Yes, it is. At first sniff, there is little to no difference. Only after a few minutes do you start to smell the differences more and more. If you want to know these in detail, just stick around a bit longer and take the 2 minutes ;)
I can't say anything about Liquid Brun. It is supposedly a bit closer, but AoN2 is already at 90-95%.

The fragrances are clearly gourmand and sweet. They remind me of pralines with a slight fruity note and a vanilla base.

AoN2 feels a bit bolder, stronger, and longer-lasting to me. That's not necessarily a bad thing if the dupe seems to have more punch. However, it also feels less balanced and a bit sweeter. It definitely has that slight fruity freshness that is very similar to Althair, but somehow it feels a bit different. It smells somewhat synthetic and less natural. Not by much, but still a bit. You probably only notice this if you have the direct comparison or are familiar with Althair.
For some reason, I perceive a slight smoky and fruity tobacco note. AoN2 does contain incense. However, that seems to be missing in the fragrance pyramid of Althair.

Althair smells a bit more noble and complex to me. It seems to be a bit more balanced overall. It is less intense, but allows you to perceive the nuances a bit better. AoN2 is by no means bad. It smells good too. Like a visit to the grandparents' manor. In the evening, before going to bed, you get a vanilla semolina pudding at the end of the fireplace room, and grandpa is stuffing his old pipe. Delicious indeed.
However, Althair smells more like you own the manor and after unwrapping gifts at Christmas, you're enjoying a lovingly baked vanilla crescent from grandma in the middle of the fireplace room. Grandpa is sitting in the corner, admiring the opulent cigar collection. It feels a bit more mature, noble, wealthy, and profound.
Althair is the rounder perfume.
AoN2 is a good alternative for me, but with expected compromises. But also with small advantages, like the stronger power, even though it is not as well balanced.

For me, the fragrances are unisex, but I think they appeal more to men. I can still imagine them well on a woman. The fragrances are definitely not for warm temperatures, but as soon as it drops below 10°, they are certainly a great option. Therefore, they are more suited for winter, late autumn, and early spring.
Certainly more for evenings, a date, or when things are getting intimate. In the latter case, I would be very cautious with the dosage, as both can be quite strong and overwhelming at first. This subsides after about 30 minutes, but I find it can quickly lead to a headache.

Unfortunately, it’s not quite my thing. It’s just a bit too much for me. But I understand why people love it :)

Strange to say, but better than the expensive PDM althair. Very similar to it but this one has better performance.

Vanilla from Mercedes-Benz Club Black/Eau des Missi with a hint of cardamom in the opening style of Lalique Equus. Intriguing composition.

PDM Althair clone!

Wonderful fragrance, more thinner, floral and lighter than Althair, at least in the opening. As it dries down it's 90% similar and lasts long. 8.5/10

A very well-made alternative to PDM Althair. I like this one better as it starts a bit fresher and more mandarin-like. A big +

I can hardly admit it, but in a blind test on my skin, the Lattafa has more depth and lasts longer than the original.
Hats off!

Anyone who rates this worse than Althaïr probably dug too deep into their wallet and is now mad at themselves. Great scent!

Insane what Lattafa has done. You can hardly smell a difference after 5-10 minutes. My wallet is happy. P/L 10/10

So this is it, the dupe that devours the original in 2 minutes. Chapo Lattafa is a long-lasting masterpiece. Great price!
