This is very well named... Aaron does PDM

Ok this is £70 for 30ml. That is a bargain. I don't care if it's just like a PDM fragrance. This smells amazing. It's potent and lasts forever. It does smell like a tobacco fragrance to me although it's not listed. Definitely a cold weather, evening out fragrance or just sit indoors on a cold day and sniff yourself. Bloody good fragrance.

'Burns The Skin From Your Eyes..'

The titular line is from the 1986 Duran Duran song, "Notorious." It is applicable - not only to this jewel of a fragrance - but to all of the other Aaron Terence Hughes creations I've put my nose on as well. ATH seems to really pride himself on the strength and longevity of his work.

SCENT: Notorious rushes out of the gate triumphantly with impossible-to-ignore sweet, fruity bergamot. I don't pick up the other listed citrus notes (lemon & orange). The mid is vanilla and tonka dominant, and this is mostly what drives the wearing to completion, as I also don't pick up much rum. Honestly, it's so delightful that I find myself ignoring the investigative seeking of notes and just enjoying the aura of the fragrance. This is a winner.

LONGEVITY: This is plutonium. Once applied, it isn't going away anytime soon. I can spray it on early in the morning and smell it a full 24 hours later.

SILLAGE: Monstrous. I applied 2 sprays and my wife smelled it upstairs a couple of minutes later.

BOTTLE: I have the version of the bottle with a rhinestone halo. It's a little garish. It lends the impression that ATH is still trying to figure out his packaging.

VALUE FOR MONEY: It's nearly impossible to find now but 50ml for $130 seems like an exceedingly good value when you consider how strong and long-lasting this is. It'll take you FOREVER to work through the bottle.

Brilliant, but familiar...

One of my favourites from Aaron Terence Hughes. It smells like a blend of ATH's Daddy and Santal Extreme so if you own those already, you might find this one to be redundant. I own lots of his fragrances now and I've noticed that many of them share a very similar dry down. I don't really detect a booziness from Notorious, it's fruity with a strong tonka background - it smells delicious and addictive. As you would expect, longevity and sillage is excellent.

Perfect Scent

Notorious was the first scent from mr.terrence that i had the pleasure to sniff.

Scent is super unique.. its a spicy-citrus -sweet-gourmand-freshie with GREAT performance.
Both sillage and longevity is monster.

I was surprised how good this fragrance actualy was, highly over my expectations. This is totally full bottle worthy!

Simply a masterpiece!

A refined fragrance to go out

Top:
Notorious starts with a heavy fruity-sweet scent. Since I have an untrained nose I can not determine at this point exactly what it is for a fruit basket. But in any case, the opening is very awesome. A certain similarity to a gummy bear I can understand, but also not quite.

Middle:
In this part of the perfume now the masterpiece comes out. Circa 1-2 hours after the opening now emerges in the background of the fragrance a gourmandiger part. This part reminds me more of chocolate, however, this is somehow difficult to recognize. Because he is covered by fruity part in the opening. Therefore, the gourmand "lurks" in the background, which makes the fragrance simply addictive, because the closer you smell it on your skin, the more intense the gourmand part becomes. Until the fragrance comes down to the heart notes it lasts about 8-12 hours. During this time it is a real attention grabber. Could not yet test it in public, but I would guess that the incredibly well received.

Heart notes:
After about 12 - 36 hours, the heart notes are smellable. The gourmand part as well as all the fruity notes are completely gone at this point. The rest I perceive as a creamy blend of cedar, patchouli and a touch of vanilla. +A very slightly sweet. Very pleasant and cozy.

Sillage/HS:
Not worth mentioning. Absolutely fantastic. A durability, where the Drydown of the heart notesnach after almost 36 hours is still smellable :) Sillage perfect. Around itself exists a so-called "Scent Bubble", which accompanies you everywhere.

Flacon:
Simple yet classy.

Conclusion :
Notorious Punktet in almost all categories a high number. The only criticism would be that it is for certain people too at the beginning. In my opinion, the sweet part harmonizes perfectly with the fruity part together.
