Addictive Smell ....

I own over 100+ fragrances and most of them are niches and artisanal . Yes , you need to have a mature nose to understand or like this type of perfume . Its very subjective that's why you need to test before committing a Full bottle as this very costly . I heard they used Original Agarwood Oil in it and yes I can feel it . The juicy raspberry, citrus & exotic spices on top and some floral touches in the Middle and always you can feel the Agarwood , spices & leather accord in the background . something is very addictive about it . Very Nice & Elegant . This fragrance is for mature crowd , I would say 35+ . And this masculine leaning but women can pull it off also . Very very smooth composition and I have to admit most of Acqua di Parma Fragrances are very smooth . Performance is very good , First 60 minutes its very loud & project 3-4 feet then sit close to skin and create a soft bubble around you till 4-5 hours then it became skin scent. But If you apply on cloth then It will last longer though I would prefer you to apply on skin only . First I tried a 5 ml Splash Miniature of it and I just fell in love with it . I finished the miniature and decided to buy this . So , I would like advise you to try it out first then decide . Stay Safe , Thanks .

Tested in the Spring shop last weekend. It's been a while since I've seen the ADP collection, which has been expanded with this new scent.

I was hoping to find a more accessible version of Creed's spice and oud.

I was totally disappointed, the oud takes over, a few times we get a rum smell, sometimes saffron, which makes it unpleasant in my opinion.

Too common and in the same vein as ombre nomade lv, haltane de pdm or outcast blue de ex nihilo, it remains more affordable in terms of price for oud lovers.

Where's the oud?

Oud & Spice is one of those fragrances that goes through dramatic shifts as it dries down with corresponding change of like/dislike. First off, the name is wrong. To me, it was more Spice & Rose. Whatever oud is there, is rather minimal. Opens up very spicy but not much smoke for me. It's as if the heart notes were really the top notes. Struck me as leaning masculine, OK scent, but nothing special. The rose then starts to make a play with a more subtle raspberry. As it continued to dry down, the spices about disappeared and it became sweeter, rose dominant and more feminine. Longevity was good - about 9 hours for me with moderate projection and sillage (stronger the first hour). First AdP scent I've tried with no opening citrus. After the opening, overall leans feminine. Pass for me.

Update on his brother Adp Oud

The latest release from the house smells quite different from its brother. I wouldn't necessarily see this as negative; here, the woody/Oud character is lost, although the fragrance notes harmonize very well with each other. The rose and raspberry do complement each other nicely as a substitute for orange, but the rose part is, in my opinion, overwhelmingly strong, which bothers me a little about the scent. That part could have been called Rose & Spice ;)) In terms of impact, I find it significantly more pronounced and spicier with edges and corners; it does seem related to the regular Oud but still misses the mark with its name! I think it stands in the shadow of its brother, but it is better in terms of performance and intensity.

Powerful perfume. Spicy, woody, slightly sweet, it has evolved a lot during its performance. It lasts 7/8 hours on my skin. The first 2 hours it has an intense projection, then it is about 30 cm from my skin but you can always smell this perfume. The price is still high, but it is really a good buy.
