Good, affordable, modern, beautiful all-rounder!!! P/L grandios.
So I dedicate a review to it after all, because it deserves it.

It starts fruity. The melon dominates and is accompanied by citrus and apple. Altogether, it even reminds a bit of pineapple. I don't see an extreme similarity to tdh here, except that it is more adult fruity and not so sweet. After about 15 minutes, we are already in the drydown, which has gradually caught my attention. It is somewhat earthy and woody, a bit fruity, a bit spicy, lightly sweet, surrounded by Ambroxan. But not tons of Ambroxan. Nothing is really dominant, and I also find it not so easy to describe it precisely. The closest comparison that comes to mind is "Sauvage (Eau de Toilette) | Dior," without it wanting to be that. Aventus, as mentioned, wasn't really it either, but I know what is meant. It feels as if a few nuances from Sauvage and Aventus/Explorer were taken and mixed, and even a bit from "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة," which didn't even exist there yet, but the spiciness reminds me of it. Now, those are three very loud fragrances, with a lot of power. However, that's not the case here; it feels more like a restrained version, without being diluted. It leans more towards: daily wear without bumping into anything harsh and annoying. And I really like that about it. Super wearable, nothing new, extravagant, or unusual, but very modern and well-balanced. Quality at designer level and snagged in the Ross
sale for 11€. I tip my hat and recommend it for testing as well. I caught myself repeatedly taking a sniff and enjoying it. Relatively simple, modern, good, and affordable, and definitely a crowd pleaser that can also bring compliments without being annoying. Now, saying every fragrance is a hidden gem is also silly. But somehow, it is one, at least in this price range.

Indirect Birthday Gift
Since my husband has his birthday today, I will surprise him with First Class - only I will wear it, as he doesn't wear fragrances himself.
I want to be clever about it - maybe I can warm him up to the pleasant scent this way?
Let's see what comments arise when I slip into bed with him wearing First Class.

The scent is indeed herbaceous - spicy from the oak moss, but not old-fashioned or rough because of it.
Yet his now-trained nose immediately recognizes the melon and the apple, two ingredients he also likes in L'eau d'Issey.
Even the bright jasmine resonates with his sensitive nose.

When I ask if it's a unisex fragrance, he surprisingly shows interest.
And then he adds that the oak moss doesn't quite suit me - the patchouli, on the other hand, is not bothersome.
What is the name of the fragrance? And I can already smell the morning air.
Will he accept First Class for himself?
But he joyfully states that the scent would suit our friend Mani well, due to its emotional heartiness.
Well, that wasn't really the point of the exercise - but our friend will appreciate this spicy fruity scent.

Aigner goes TdH
The pyramid actually reveals it only at second glance.
First Class is a disguised TdH-alike.

In the fruits at the beginning, apple (oh, how new) and indeed melon are noticeable.
Grapefruit or pink pepper/berries are hardly discernible.
After the fruits, a shower gel note comes through and it becomes distinctly soapy.
Correction: A slight sharpness is indeed present in this phase, maybe it is the pepper :-)

When the soap has faded away, after about a quarter of an hour, this mineral-like base note of TdH fully comes into play. The grapefruit can also be found there.

All in all, it smells like many current men's fragrances from the
so-called mainstream.
This is how many new men's fragrances smell nowadays, in every price range
and regardless of which (well-sounding) name.

Anyone expecting something different here is likely to be disappointed.

Very nice cheapie! Well blended and mature spicy citrus fruity woody scent, that is going to appeal to fans of frags like Dunhill Icon.

This reminds me very much of Caron PH. Same vibe, notes. Except FC I had for US$ 20 for 100ml.

Sweet (fruity)-spicy scent with a potent, well-groomed macho attitude. A bit of vulgar appeal. Feels lifeless due to pure synthetics.

An extremely successful modern-sporty scent, fruity, spicy, and fresh. Somewhere between Terre de Hermes and Sauvage.

At first, it’s like AIGNER BLUE EMOTION with sweet apple cider, but later it shifts a lot (!) towards oak moss. Aigner is becoming modern. Please try it.

Nice fresh start, then a boring TdH, the base is okay. Well. Yawn... You don't need to own this Aigner.

Yes, Td'H is very similar. The base is earthier, mossier, and spicier.
I really like that and it doesn't make it a cheap copy.

Very grounded scent for everyday use. Just to smell good.. And it does so in a strikingly subtle way. Good.

Melon is always good! Unfortunately, it's rarely found in first-class perfumes.

There are hardly any good melon scents, and I love melon. Nothing extravagant, but a good designer for €11, a great daily!
