Extending the Summer....
I just treated myself to it...in Spain, more precisely in Andalusia, where it’s still 30 degrees at the beginning of October and the sun smiles from a rich blue sky for days on end! What could be better? And this scent is pure summer-sun-good mood with a freshness kick that radiates dry warmth and leaves nothing to be desired. I really don’t want to go back to this horrid gray, cold, and especially light-poor Germany, and the autumn and winter time that is coming is anyway the worst for me....but this wonderfully light scent will make it a bit easier for me to wait for summer 2018 ;-) at the beginning, I perceive a nice mix of bergamot and anise, although you can only catch a brief whiff of anise. The desert rose doesn’t reveal itself to me, what a pity, I would love to know what such a wonderful specimen of bloom smells like ;-) over time, it actually becomes a bit aquatic, but never too transparent, rather refreshingly bright and cheerful, like a breeze at 40 degrees in the shade and a brilliant 35% humidity...the climate that I love so infinitely! I really like frankincense, but here it shows me the cold shoulder and rather shines through its absence, instead, sandalwood paired with a hint of delicious musk tickles my summer nose... Unfortunately, the sillage is rather close to the body and the longevity could be improved. I just keep reapplying, close my eyes, and am once again under the wonderfully hot southern sun, which simply means life and enjoyment!
