Haze | Another Powerhouse from the house!

Haze is as green as a fragrance can be. Akro fragrances are based on six different addictions and Haze is based on the addiction of Weed! ⁠

Imagine taking eucalyptus & mint leaves, crushing it with a little absinthe. Haze is smooth, earthy, bitter, refreshing and up-lifting. It definitely reminds me of my trip to Amsterdam ;)⁠

Even though it's Fall, if you are looking for a fresh green scent that will get you smelling different, Haze can be for you!⁠

Very green & herbal

I got the discovery kit from this house, it came with 6 samples. As it said in the description, six provocative fragrances. Addictions turned into perfume.

Haze represents weed, marijuana.

Sharp opening just like the smell of eucalyptus, mint and absinthe. It smells a bit like toothpaste to me. An aromatic and fresh scent, after the sharp opening everything calms down soon and you can feel the mix of mint and patchouli. Does it smell like a weed? Not even a second. I don't see any connection at all and it doesn't last very long.

I expected a little more from this perfume, so I was disappointed.

A monstrously beautiful snake lady of a scent

Akro Haze is a cool, slithery scent of aromatic and bittersweet-camphoraceous herbs, the hissing sweetness of that unexpected and uncanny resinous maple syrup note that I associate with immortelle, and a quiet, stealthy base of leathery woods and patchouli. I can’t speak to the fragrance’s supposed inspiration because I do not partake, but it certainly does have a nocturnal, narcotic energy, all languid limbs, drowsing breaths, and being hypnotized by a gorgeous creature who is actually a snake spirit or a snake goddess, or a Medusa, or a half-woman, half-cobra monster created by a mad scientist, or whatever-- what I am getting here is that Haze is a monstrously beautiful snake lady of a scent.

Green, fresh, herbal - interesting, an enjoyable sum of its parts

Akro Haze is part of the brand’s original launch in 2018, the Luckyscent descriptor of being an “aromatic fog of a Bohemian Café” seems quite fitting. It’s green, semi-fresh, a little herbal, and a little smoky, with notes of absinthe, eucalyptus, spearmint, sage, and armoise/mugwort, the last of which I had to look up / was not familiar with it. The entire formula might sound potentially heady and sharp, but it’s fairly smooth and easy to wear, with hints at some of the more provocative notes in the list, but an overall landing spot of a woody, green, slightly fresh and herbal mix. This is definitely worth trying, and deviates from some of the more gourmand leanings while not infringing on the territory of Smoke, either, while still performing pretty well.

Haze, like the rest of the line, is priced at $160 for 100ml and is sold in the US via Luckyscent, and also the house website.

Not weedy

This smells a little like weed for about 5 seconds, if you tell yourself it does. That said, I don't want it to. I'm offput by this on initial spray, but very quickly it becomes refreshing and very green and herbal. On me, it stays close to the skin and evolved into a mild and pleasant patchouli-esque scent. This still isn't the perfect eucalyptus scent I've been seeking, but it's closer than anything else I've tried yet.
