"Out of the shower" Arab
My predecessors have very divided opinions about this fragrance. One gives no chance to this scent from the brand Rasasi, while the other speaks of the new Cool Water.

I respect both opinions and have a completely different view of this fragrance. Perhaps something has changed in the composition over time.

This fragrance starts with a sweet-citrusy note and is aquatic and slightly masculine-floral. After about 15-20 minutes, it bears a strong resemblance to Versace Pour Homme, but for the first 2 hours, it is not as "loud" as VPH, although VPH is also a scent that is perceived more closely. After that, it fades away just as quickly as VPH.

I find this fragrance to be a very pleasant "Out of the Shower" scent...fresh, invigorating, citrusy, slightly spicy, and creamy. The spice leans towards "Versace Dylan Blue" but is reduced by factors, practically like having worn VDB on the skin 12 hours ago.

In my opinion, the fragrance is suitable for the office, as it can hardly disturb others and is only perceivable from close range. You can't go wrong with this scent if you enjoy fresh fragrances. Although I haven't tried it yet, I think this fragrance can be worn very well when you want to get closer to your partner and smell fresh and clean rather than overly perfumed.

I am critical of the designation EDP for this fragrance. I actually expect more performance in terms of sillage and longevity from an EDP, especially since you know different from the house of Rasasi (Dareej, Tasmeem, Shuhrah, Shaghaf, etc.). At the same time, I don't want to be too critical, as fresh-aquatic fragrances often suffer from performance, and at this price (under €20 for 75ml), you can spray generously and reapply after 3-4 hours.

Would I buy this fragrance again? I think so, because I like the scent note and it positively puts me in a summery mood. If there were an alternative that offers more performance in a similar price range (under €30), I would not buy it again.

Unfortunately, No Arabian Desert Oasis
For me, the brand Rasasi really had a chance to score points, as I have had so many perfumes. If the majority had been good, I would not only have praised them here on Parfumo and made them more well-known, but I would also have remained a loyal customer myself. But now my Rasasi story is definitely over, even though I have announced this several times before. There always seemed to be some recommendation that sounded good. But in the end, only Daarej and Tasmeem remain, as even the supposedly fresh Hatem doesn’t convince me in the slightest; it’s on a similarly low level as Abyan.

Hatem is neither Oriental nor Aquatic on my skin. Rather, it’s a slightly fresh floral blend that just doesn’t deliver. I find it rather dry, dusty, and gray - only the color of the liquid gives off a sparkling, salty, watery impression. The positive aspect is that I couldn’t think of any scent that smells similar or would be a duplicate. But otherwise, this bright floral scent is probably just what Arabian sheikhs imagine under a coastal sea. Although, they do have enough sea there. Well, maybe a sandstorm just blew their noses or the diesel price has dropped below 10 cents, which of course is distracting. I will give this scent a few chances in the increasingly warm spring, but I am very skeptical about whether it will take advantage of them...

Bottle: heavy, elegant, great. A highlight - the Arabs can do that.
Sillage: EdP says nothing once again - very subtle.
Longevity: 4-6 hours is a figure one should not be proud of.

Sorry guys, for me, there are worlds apart from Cool Water or even the fresh elite. Unfortunately, I can only advise against this one despite the low price, and from the brand, apart from the 2 mentioned exceptional scents as well. And I have already given them all many chances and I really have to know.

The "better" Cool Water
Rasasi fragrances have never disappointed me so far... and that's why I was also curious about HATEM...
Super!
The first "fresh" Oriental.
While TASMEEM tends to go more into the "depth" & the others always have an unmatched, substantial touch... HATEM is the fresh and cheerful counterpart to that!
A fantastic summer scent that possesses all the freshness & lightness that I appreciate on warm days.
COOL WATER was my "signature" in the 90s... and I loved it from the very beginning! These days, I have always been on the lookout for something comparable... and I have now found it with Rasasi. Great!! :-)
I perceive the scent as aquatic... green... cheerful... also a bit fruity... but never too much... it remains unadulteratedly masculine & clear.
And on top of that, Rasasi usually offers its men's perfumes as Eau De Parfums... wonderful! It lasts... and lasts..... and even after 8 hours, this cool breeze surrounds you!
Respect!

Arabian Spring
Actually, I didn't want to order any more fragrances from Rasasi, as I was less impressed with Abyan for Men. Just too dry, too boring, with hardly any noticeable changes.
But luckily, there's the good Leimbacher who has tested several Rasasi fragrances and found some to be really good, so I gave the brand another chance and ordered Hatem.
Hopefully, it won't be another disappointment. When the package arrived and I unpacked my fragrances (6 others), I was first interested in Hatem. Just the packaging was the most enticing of all the others. Is the content just as good...? A hit!!
The appearance is already spot on, unlike Abyan, which had a plastic cap - no! No plastic, the cap is almost as heavy as the full bottle; now the content just needs to match.
A small spray on my left arm and the whole room smelled of it. Fresh lemons enriched with a spice I hadn't encountered before, not a dupe of any other, something unique, a keeper - in short: beautiful!
The spicy, fruity top note quickly makes way for sandalwood and patchouli. Unfortunately, the heart note fades relatively quickly; in less than 4 hours, you only smell cedar and geranium. However, this is very persistent and still clearly noticeable even after a shower.
Should I be happy now and complain again about this Rasasi?
It's more the joy of finding a fragrance that is unique, looks great, smells good, and doesn't cost the earth. Hatem is certainly not a fragrance miracle, but also not a bore that I could categorize in the price range of Calvin Klein or Davidoff.

Conclusion: A good fragrance, unique at a reasonable price.
Recommendation: Yes

Itsmells like a peppery spicy version of VPH. It could even be a flanker. Nice high quality flacon and very well blended juice

Amazing scent for spring and summer. Fresh-aquatic-floral, lightly sweet. Not a CW dupe. Respect for Rasasi! Bottle is very nice and high-quality!

Strong citrus and smells a bit synthetic. The scent has a strong Arabic note. Acceptable fragrance.

For me, it's the epitome of a shower gel scent. Fresh, sweet, nice. Unfortunately, it has quite limited longevity. What can you do, at that price ;-)

The thing is fresh. You feel like you've just showered after applying it.
It's like Cool Water on steroids.

There are much nicer aquatics, as this one seems very synthetic and lacks depth, in my opinion.

Very fresh and citrus-woody scent. I like it a lot, if only the longevity wasn't so poor. This is what I imagine after a barber visit.

Definitely Arabic, but also fresh - spicy. To my nose, it's more masculine.

A pleasant aquatic unisex scent with a high-quality looking bottle. Unfortunately, it fades away too quickly. For the low price, it's okay.
