I have now tested the Discovery Set from Akro with the 10 samples. It was fun because there was already a nice varied mix of styles. There were 3-4 that I would say I would buy or wear. This glow is also one of them. A great mix that comes across as really classy and sublime. Alongside
East, this is one of the more expensive fragrances of this brand, but you can also smell it in these two fragrances. In terms of price, however, this is still possible and the prices here are quite normal niche prices. All Akro fragrances are available in 30ml and 100ml. If you like warm, flattering sweet fragrances, you can buy the large bottle here, as it also works quite well in everyday life. As my headline says, this one reminds me of the great Guerlain fragrance
Spiritueuse Double Vanille. However, this glow is much more subdued in its DNA, which makes it much more suitable for everyday use. This glow is very pleasant on the skin without being too weak in terms of sillage. I can absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes these warm, cozy, sweet fragrances with this sensual aura. This fragrance is very unisex and captivates with this noble smoky-sweet vanilla.
All 14 fragrances of this French brand were designed by Olivier Cresp. Already a well-known name, but one who is better known for fresher works and has also created many designers. From time to time he also proves his skills with high-priced and heavier concepts. In my opinion, he did a good job with the Akro fragrances.
The bottles are uniform and the fragrances come in a stylish box. Here you get a golden bottle that matches the name and looks quite cool. The picture above doesn't show it off so well, but it looks very fancy.
As I said, the fragrance is very similar to the much more expensive Guerlain. It's worth it, but if you like the more everyday version, you'll find it here. The pyramid looks slimmed down, even if it is not that complex. This does not detract from its noble aura. The fragrances smell rich and sophisticated. A great combination with this warm amber-vanilla DNA in combination with this great incense, which very gently adds this smoky note. It doesn't really smell like a campfire or anything like that, but very gently like incense. This note works very well in combination with warm amber and vanilla. A light boozy opening is also very nice. The fragrance quickly becomes soft and flattering. This creates a very cozy vibe that is not only good in autumn or winter. The gourmand notes are not too heavy or even wintery. A year-round fragrance that would only be too heavy in summer/midsummer. However, it always works for the evening.
I don't think it's as bad as the performance here. It doesn't have the great power of the Guerlain, for example, but it's a great, gentle companion that lasts for at least 8 hours. The sillage is never too much but still somehow very present which suits this great fragrance aura.
Overall a great noble fragrance that is simply extremely pleasant and an absolutely noble companion for many occasions. Recommendation.
