Attic shower
"Musc Immortel" by Atelier des Ors is a fluffy, textured musk iris mix, perfect for rainy days in the transitional seasons. It seems almost sleepy and listless, sad and inactive, but it is extremely high quality and touchable. Very breathy, delicate, rather neutral, almost androgynous.
Through the Immortelle there is enough sweetness, through the Musk there is enough physicality, through the Iris there is enough femininity. A royal stuffness, a dirty purity. Hard to describe. Strange mixture, doesn't work consistently, I need to be in the right mood for it. But I actually like all components extremely much. Sometimes I get a little irritated here, but sometimes I'm in the seventh scented sky. Daily form dependent. Definitely one of the finest musk sailors aboard. In my opinion, all he lacks is a little character and angularity. The blur is fully pressed through here and can never be turned off. It can strike a chord. But that's exactly why it matches clouds and shadows.
Flacon: the Ors' studios are already damn fine in this respect. Almost everything fits here.
Sillage: tender and cordial
Durability: solid 7 hours. Here, the nose adapts particularly quickly when felt.
Conclusion: a delicate, grey veil of iris, musk and a dash of coffee... Very dusty, powdery and humane. I like it a lot. One of the most tender temptations in musk land. A capable autumn cuddler. Defensive and felt constantly in hibernation. Like sleeping feet in beautiful.
