Nuda Veritas Atelier des Ors 2018 Eau de Parfum

Nuda Veritas opens with bright bergamot and airy jasmine over soft aldehydes - fresh, clean and surprisingly easy to wear from the very first spray. It dries down into a clean comforting musk with light floral sweetness that feels genuinely skin-like and effortless. The kind of fragrance that doesn't demand attention but keeps drawing you back in quietly. Still on my revisit list before making a final decision.

I tried this on my hand and i really liked it.

It’s absolutely marine/acuatic and reminds me of a lot of other calone/salty perfumes, that’s why i don’t consider buying it.

But if i wouldn’t have other perfumes like this, i would for sure. It’s a wonderful sea breeze, no fishy smell here, just great sea breeze with some citruses and flowers.

I get it constantly with beautiful light waffles. Very good one.

Oh and the gold glitter on the hand is cute :-)

I convinced my friend to take a trip to southern France. I really wanted to go to Grasse.... In my imagination, there were many fields of flowers and the town already smelled of beautiful flowers :) at least in my imagination!
In reality, Grasse was nothing extraordinary. Fragonard, Molinard, and Galimard can be found in almost every town in southern France; I didn’t need to go to Grasse for that, and there were no fields either. An absolutely boring town, far and wide..
But the parking garage actually smelled nice, which I least expected.
Anyway, out of frustration and disappointment, I picked up a few fragrances, just for the sake of buying.
Upon arriving in Nice, I was sad not to have brought back a special scent. So I headed towards the airport.
Once at the airport, I continued to browse through the duty-free shops and then I discovered another store that sold niche fragrances. I knew all the brands and labels... except for one:
Atelier des Ors.
The bottles were somehow old-fashioned but also kind of beautiful. I then left... with empty hands but many scents on my arms :)
As we stood in line at the gate, and this fragrance on my right wrist kept making me want to smell it, I told my friend... wait here.. I’ll be back in 5 minutes... the dirty looks from my annoyed friend were unforgettable. :)
So I ran off... without much fuss.. grabbed this bottle.. paid 210 euros!!! (Later it turned out I could have gotten it cheaper online, but I would have never stumbled upon this brand.)

That was it. I had bought it. Just on the go...
Such a beautiful, soft, clean, feminine scent. Unobtrusive.. salty, creamy... so lovely.
When I was then approached about this scent by two different people in my circle, I was sure. It was a good purchase!!!!
Usually, I categorize fragrances by seasons. This is a summer scent.
But I’m wearing it right now too... it’s 5 degrees and it feels like a soft, clean blanket that hugs and warms me.
It’s a great fragrance....
