Mandarin-colored Sunset
I don't know what it is, but for me, this is a fragrance where the sandalwood comes across differently, and I think it has to do with the mandarin. To be honest, I've never really noticed mandarin in a fragrance before. It is sweeter than lemon and also different from orange, which brings for me a more "playful, younger" citrus to the sandalwood. Sandalwood, which has something mature and serious to me, somehow fits with oud or leather scents, gains a bit of light youthful magic. It is not like oud bam on the ground, but the feet float just above it, the horizon to the left and right behind the feet that have run through it and have the freedom to choose where to prance next, but the magic is - we don't know. I hope this vivid description was able to convey something. Somehow it reminds me of a more mature and less sweet version of Punk Bouquet by And Other Stories... so maybe, neither childish nor old, it is for the youth dancing at unconventional festivals near the Grand Canyon in the USA. Leather sandalwood for the urge for freedom and mandarin for magic, security, and identity.
