Well, I'm moderately impressed here
Many thanks to Sören for the bottling of Victoria :-) This fragrance didn't really convince me in the end. The longevity is okay so far but it smells extremely close to the skin after 4 to 5 hours and after 7 to 8 hours the fragrance disappears again. The sillage is successful, at least at the beginning.

The top note initially smells strongly of elemi resin, which creates woody, spicy, citrusy, woody, resinous and slightly smoky aromas. This is followed by a good portion of labdanum, which makes it smell tart, herbal, dark, balsamic, earthy and mossy. In the heart note, Burmese oud provides a proper animalic quality, which smells quite musty, musty and almost like ammonia. Over time, a certain rose aroma resonates. The base continues to smell woody like oud but also green, earthy and rooty like patchouli and oakmoss.

No, I'm not really happy with this one...

There are no winners for me here.
An overdose of lavender to start.
Develops into a confused fougere after a few minutes.
What must once have been beautiful oud from Myanmar
is washed out into the soaked, sweaty wooden floor of an old gymnasium.
On it, greens and fruits - flowers and resins fight for better or worse in the octagon.
After more than an hour, there is still no favorite.
Instead, the ground is now covered in a thick layer of moss.
At some point, the wranglers are finally swallowed up by animalistic greenery.
The ground still smells.

Winner ?
Somehow there is no winner for me.
Components ?
High End.
Composition ?
Chaos.
Jump to Areej Level ?
I can't do it !
Not even close.

Patchouli with a retro touch by junior
Victoria opens fresh and fruity with juicy, sour blackcurrant covered in sweet resin and delicate smoke. Patchouli quickly arrives, it's dry and spicy with an earthy character - which is not actually my type - fortunately patchouli smooths out after a while and becomes damp and musty, yet quite pleasant to my nose.
There is woody base that I can split into two phases. First is spicy wood with pepper and served with flowers, which give some kind of lightness and airiness to the composition. Then, significantly over time, wood softens to a creamy and slightly powdery form, that I identify as sandalwood, with a touch of sweetness - consequently it loses its lightness here.
The drydown is dominated by patchouli, which I consider as multi-dimensional, but I would briefly describe it as cellar-fermented with slightly chocolate connotations, settled on a powdery base - quite enjoyable. However, I must admit that after a few hours it started to bother me, because I simply don't like patchouli.
Heading to the end it's worth empasizing that from the opening to drydown can feel a retro accent in the composition, in my opinion thanks to the patchouli. I recommend checking out, especially to lovers of vintage compositions, although this not a typical old man scent.

quite wearable, I perceive a lot of powdered coffee-like spice. Oud and green! Handsome!

There's an interesting dustiness in the opening, followed by sweet resins and earthy flowers. Really beautiful.
