Tuberose takeover
The tuberose is definitely the dominant scent in this fragrance for me, and while it's a note I can certainly love on others, I find it often doesn't work for me. If you are looking for a garden-y, spring-y tuberose you could do worse than this; unfortunately, I just wasn't. I have a brand sample that I probably won't finish. Lasts decently long though. 6/10

One of the highest quality from Byredo
I admit I initially had my doubts about whether this small exclusive line from Byredo was worth it. Nevertheless, this fragrance had to be thoroughly tested; I was too curious. And what can I say, this is probably one of the most complex creations from the house.
I am not a big lover of tuberose and usually try to avoid it, but here it is so finely balanced that it is not only bearable but absolutely beautiful and complementary! It's amazing that I find myself praising the use of tuberose again. The entire creation is simply rounded, and it seems to me that this composition was not created in haste. The scent constantly oscillates between classic and modern, compelling one to sniff at their own wrist continuously. The plum is, in my opinion, clearly noticeable throughout the entire top and heart note. During the heart note, a play unfolds between jasmine, lily, and rose, which together smell like a €1000 flower bouquet. I don't really pick out the clove, but rather a steady, very gentle woody undertone that becomes more pronounced over the hours. One thing that always excites me is the progression of sweetness. The fragrance has a certain base sweetness, not too bold, rather well-measured. The first sweetness you perceive is a plum sweetness, and at some point, this sweetness subtly transforms into a honey sweetness that is quite atypical for honey. In the last hours, I perceive a kind of rosewood along with the aforementioned honey note. I see this fragrance for evening occasions, extraordinary events, and special moments. Too special to wear it just like that. The price alone makes this perfume hardly suitable as an everyday scent.
A commendable creation from Byredo!

Unspectacular..
The scent starts off very feminine. Very noble, almost powdery floral but also not particularly innovative.. Category "quite nice".. The tuberose dominates with a hint of honey and comes across to me as a bit old-fashioned and unspectacular. The plum is only perceptible for a very short time in the first minutes before it fades away and makes room for the tuberose. The scent is actually very beautiful, but it has something almost boring and almost shy about it. If the scent were to remain like this, it would be a light noble but not very exciting summer fragrance for me. However, the scent quickly shifts into sleep mode..

The heart notes do not stay on my skin for long.. A short hour, if at all, before any very airy and almost transparent notes take over. These notes are supposed to be rosewood and honey, but I can't smell them.. I only detect something almost bitter, almost transparent..

H+ S a disaster.. Price/performance or let's say clearly that the quality for the price is a slap in the face..

Mainstream-friendly yet special
Yes, the scent is not an innovation. Nevertheless, the individual notes are wonderfully harmoniously intertwined.

At the top, there is a very delicate, fruity floral note.

In the heart, a tuberose that comes across as incredibly beautiful. It's rare that this note doesn't evoke bubblegum associations in me.

In the base, the scent feels warm and enveloping. Throughout, a moderate sweetness resonates.

I would almost classify the scent as mainstream. I can imagine it on the shelves of the relevant perfumeries.

Elegance and Lightness in One
Casablanca Lily reminds me of Neroli & Orchid by L'Occitane en Provence, even though they hardly overlap in notes. In a way, they are similar, yes, but Casablanca Lily is definitely better.

The scent is soft, feminine, and floral without being too sweet or too fresh. Simply elegant. At first sniff, it may not seem like a major innovation, yet it lingers pleasantly in the memory, and you find yourself wanting to sniff it again and again.

The fragrance initially feels familiar and known, but that is a bit misleading. It is indeed something special, a beautiful blend of elegance and lightness.

By the way, the fragrance is officially a unisex; for me personally, it feels more feminine, which certainly doesn't make it a women's fragrance.

Casablanca Lily is definitely going on my wishlist!

A plum that is not crushed by sweet floral opulence, but with an elegant appeal. Well done! Less good is short longevity...

Plum and tuberose go to a date, some other floral notes come later too and honey is paying the bill. Smells interesting but costs too much.

Plum is nectary. Florals are creamy, feel like stepping into a pleasantly humid greenhouse at dusk. Honeyed woods makes it seductive.

Smelt like a cheap Garnier shampoo to me, not sophisticated or rich as I anticipated. Could pick out very little of the scent profile.

YAAAS, this is my type! Tuberose and plum are clearly noticeable and delight my heart. Paired with a bit of woody-floral, amazing!!!

Look into my eyes, little one. Delicate tuberose wildness & Chanel. Gardenia between reality & fiction. A refuge with subtle. Honour flashbacks.

I expected something darker from the bottle. Instead, a wonderful, bright floral mix with a hint of plum and honey. Delightfully spring-like.
