Vintage classic

This perfume is very feminine. The aroma is floral, even slightly intoxicating. Then the flowers give way to a soapy aroma. In such a palette of pleasant flower aromas, I personally find it difficult to separate them into individual components. Although jasmine still comes to the fore here. After such a beginning and middle, I was very interested in what would happen at the end. The flowers have begun to bloom sweet pine nuts and sandalwood. This scent for me is a vintage classic of women's perfumery.

a milestone in my fragrance world

My now sadly empty 7.5 ml bottle of the perfume "Chloé" is inhabited by many golden glitter particles.
These were very generously included during the final phase of the program "Magic of Butterflies" at the Dream Theater Salomé! It's been a long time, but they are well preserved there and always remind me of beautiful and entertaining hours.
Like with the "KL," the smaller bottle here is much more charming, as it is better proportioned than the "bigger brother" with the 15 ml filling.

As an Eau de Toilette lover, it was inevitable that I had to own the perfume as well. There were probably only a few women who didn't fall in love with this extraordinary bottle.
And so, I also received "Chloé" as a perfume one Christmas a year ago.
The two of us - the perfume and I - were shining in competition!

In terms of radiance, this surpasses the Eau de Toilette by far. It may be hard to imagine, but it's true!
In a well-balanced fragrance fullness, bright aldehydes and a bouquet of white summer flowers greet you: fragrant lilac, large-headed hyacinth, climbing honeysuckle, the slightly waxy orange blossom, and the bergamot that always slightly dampens the scent.
They skillfully unite with the inherent sweetness of coconut.
Additionally, there is the fully ripe peach and the sparkle of the always beautiful ylang-ylang.
Here, everything shines a little deeper and more golden than in the Eau de Toilette.
Musk generously envelops a balanced and precisely dosed blend of amber, benzoin, and sandalwood in the perfume. Oak moss adds depth, and cedar provides additional full spice!
Thus, a perfume is created, as thoughtfully and artistically composed as a grand symphony of scents!

Against this backdrop, it is unnecessary to think about sillage and longevity: both are simply incredibly rich.
Touching up was done purely out of joy for the scent, never out of pure necessity.

With this fragrance, Karl Lagerfeld made an extraordinary gift to the house of Chloé.
The name, which will always be associated with him, to which he successfully laid the foundation, continues to be used.
Whether successfully, I do not wish to comment on here.

For me, at least, "Chloé," in whatever concentration, has been an important and very personal fragrance milestone and will likely always remain so.
