Noble, friendly, fruity-warm fragrance treasure - incredibly characterful
A few days ago, it was that time again - I urgently needed a new perfume. One that I didn't know yet and had never tested before. A blind purchase, so to speak.
I chose Pink Coral by Armaf - the listed ingredients like orange, bergamot, and patchouli were the deciding factors for me to order it.
It arrived yesterday. I found the packaging alone to be unique - the round velvet box in which the bottle stood is a real eye-catcher. The bottle itself is quite heavy and very well crafted.
Then came the first spray on my wrist. Wow. Mmmmm... WOW.... I was blown away. The opening began with a wonderful ethereal orange aroma, with a subtle hint of rose joining in right away. Bergamot initially stayed more in the background. What enchanted me was the warmth, the softness, the fruitiness that spread in the room and evoked a real sense of well-being and something like security in me.
After about an hour and countless sniffs at my wrist, I could faintly sense the patchouli and the powdery vanilla with a touch of jasmine. I love patchouli - and yes - there could be a bit more of it peeking through here.....
After about 5 hours, Pink Coral unfolded as a "total work of art" - a noble and characterful fragrance, where the DNA seems very balanced and I didn't notice any major changes in the scent progression during the dry down. Thank goodness.
The longevity is incredible!
This morning, I still smelled - albeit faintly - a little rose lying next to a vanilla pod, covered by a jasmine bush soaked with a bit of musk and patchouli.
I am absolutely thrilled with this brilliant blind purchase, which, by the way, hasn't strained my wallet too much and is something you can simply treat yourself to.
