almost a rendezvous

Today I have my first encounter with my new Docki - and I'm as excited as a teenager before their first date.

I am a creature of habit and everything new makes me nervous.

I squeeze myself into slimming pants - paired with elongating pumps.
As a garden gnome, one fights for every centimeter.

Maybe a little makeup? No, because I don’t want to marry the man - just come across positively.
A suitable fragrance is still needed - friendly but not pretentious.

Then I settle on Celebrete now, which I initially dismissed as somewhat nondescript.
A misjudgment - because exactly for a first meeting, where one wants to be perceived olfactorily without standing out, now is just perfect.

It comes across as peaceful - friendly - with a mischievous cheerfulness.
That's how I want to appear today - may my nervousness not show through.

The soft ginger note gives me confidence and the delicate magnolia emphasizes my sensitivity.
The fragrance should not disguise me.
Cinnamon, mixed with vanilla, turns out to be calming and flattering.

I think I'm well-equipped with now for this almost rendezvous.

Campino Strawberry Cream Candy

Pink attracts me like a magnet. I just have to pick up pink bottles and press the spray head -
there could be something sweet, sugary, strawberry-like inside! And that is exactly the case with Celebrate N.O.W. This perfume reminds me of the Campino candies I loved in my childhood. The combination of strawberries and cream paired with lots of sugar was always present at my grandma's.

The thing is - the fragrance notes promise something completely different. According to them, the scent should start off zesty-spicy, then become floral, and finally finish sweet-spicy. But it doesn’t do that - at least not for me. Instead, it comes across as very feminine and has already earned me several compliments. A colleague recently asked me what shampoo I was using - it smelled so beautifully fruity and well-groomed. My shampoo is scent-neutral - but I was wearing Celebrate N.O.W. The longevity is also good, lasting about six to seven hours.

So, for those who like sweet scents that are not unpleasantly overpowering and fuzzy, they can definitely bring their nose close to this perfume. In my opinion, it leans a bit towards Valentina Pink.

Missed Release Timing

Today, I was very curious to test the new Escada fragrance in turquoise. A brand that has released some really good scents for me, like one of my favorites, Magnetism. I was looking forward to a new Escada perfume far removed from the summer releases.

With the design and color of the bottle, you immediately think of a spring fragrance. Shortly after spraying, I smell a citrus-fresh note, which is probably due to the ginger. Quite quickly, the scent transitions to a floral-soapy character, with the magnolia coming to the forefront. The combination of sharp-fruity and floral accords reminds me a bit of the fragrance "S" by Escada, which I once owned. However, that one contains chili, which later mixes with floral notes. Unfortunately, the magnolia in Celebrate Now comes across as quite synthetic to me and reminds me of Airwick room spray. In the base, Celebrate becomes sweeter, but still very tame, nice, and interchangeable. I can't detect the indicated cinnamon. I would estimate the longevity from sniffing the test strip to be quite good.

I wonder what Escada wants to celebrate with this fragrance and its presentation; in my opinion, it can't be autumn, which has now begun. I think they missed the release date; it would have been better placed in spring.

Undress Discreetly, DISCREET!

Forgive me the title of the post, but this Escada was so wonderful that I bought it today for just about €43. The beautiful bottle with the hearts and the packaging hint at a romantic scent, which it truly is.

Celebrate N.O.W is not unknown to me: It reminds me a lot of Amor Amor by Cacharel, which I used to consume "cough" frequently back in 2003 when it was released.
Amor Amor was, alongside Deep Red and a few others, my disco companion when it was time for the weekend!

On Fridays, I particularly looked forward to finishing work at noon. When I got home, I would eat, then take a long bath, relax, and later get ready for the disco. During the week, that wasn't possible! My busy work life was too demanding. I was glad not to collapse at my doorstep after a hard 8-hour workday because I was dead tired.

As you can imagine, I would shower quickly, eat something, and then fall straight into bed. I was always exhausted. That's just how it is.

But back to the scent: Celebrate N.O.W, as mentioned above, reminds me of Amor Amor but matured, not too fruity but rather "adult" and serious. I would say, discreet! Where Amor Amor says, "here I am," you have to get closer with Celebrate N.O.W, as it is very intimate.
For those who work closely in office spaces with others, it is certainly an ideal scent. The smaller the room, the more you will be noticed when wearing this Escada.

By the way, it is the ideal intimate scent. Discreetly undressing, because the scent is indeed seductive, although Celebrate N.O.W is not a complex fragrance or one that makes you say "Wow." There are similar scents available in various shower gels or deodorants, and yet I am glad that I found this fragrance today. I celebrate this scent now and in this moment.

Comforting and Cozy Ginger Tea with a Fine Vanilla Aroma! :)

Three years ago on Valentine's Day, my mother gifted me this fragrance :))
I was so happy about it back then, as she knew I really liked this scent :) Thank you, Mom! :) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ She bought me this fragrance in the 30ml size, which was perfect for me since I already had enough fragrances in 50ml or 100ml, and the 30ml was just right! :)) Because I could take the bottle with me wherever I wanted ;))
The bottle itself was already simply BEAUTIFUL to me!*.* So sweet and girly at the same time, but the contents are, in my opinion, much more beautiful! :)

Enough raving! ;D I know that many of you avoid Escada fragrances, which I can understand! But this one is completely different! :) Yes, I know Escada fragrances are known for smelling very sweet and synthetic... But again, this fragrance is DIFFERENT! ;) It does have a sweet note, but not an overpowering sweet note! This one is 0 sweet on my skin! Much more fresh and spicy! You have to like ginger in fragrances, as it is very present here! I love it! :D I also think that this is a fragrance you can wear all year round since it adapts to the weather on my skin!
Since I know many are now waiting for the scent description, I will keep it short and start with that :)
The scent....
Starts off very spicy for me (as I mentioned, I love that since I love ginger :D) The ginger note is very present throughout the entire scent development! Only when it’s warm does the ginger note feel lighter but also a bit fresher, but when it’s cooler outside, the ginger note is more intense on the skin. The beautiful thing about this fragrance is that the floral notes give the scent a pleasant freshness and add a very feminine touch to it.
From the base note, the fragrance becomes very warm on the skin, which I believe comes from the cinnamon note :) Normally, warm fragrances turn sweet very quickly on my skin, but this one retains its freshness, which I personally find very pleasant :))) I unfortunately cannot detect the tonka, which is a pity... But the vanilla harmonizes beautifully with the ginger note! From there, it reminds me a bit of ginger tea with vanilla aroma (Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they find that pleasant or want to wear it! People who drink a lot of tea will probably like it :))
Since this fragrance strongly reminds me of ginger vanilla tea, I find it quite calming! :) This scent is not smoky at all! I wanted to emphasize that since many will probably think of a smoky note when they think of tea... I believe... I love wearing this fragrance when I know that (unfortunately) a very stressful day awaits me, and sometimes that's exactly what you need!
Just a fragrance that comforts and calms you! You don’t always have to smell particularly different or sexy ;D You can also just smell good and decent :D You know what I mean! :D
I personally find the longevity and sillage good! It lasts a good 6 hours on both clothing and skin for me. In my opinion, that’s quite good! :) I can also reassure you that the fragrance is not strong at all like some fragrances that you might find overpowering! It is, in my opinion, very suitable for everyday wear, at least for me! Since I mostly wear strong, sweet fragrances that are usually worn in the evening :D
You can say/think what you want about Escada! But this fragrance definitely deserves to be tested!
