Crisp and fresh

I picked up a sample of Vetiver Moloko because I am on a vetiver note exploration at the moment and I am trying to learn the note in more detail. This has the honor of being one of the first Vetiver samples from the experiment that I tested in earnest.

I am by no means a Vetiver expert but I like this one. It's very fresh, clean and crisp smelling. A mood boosting type of zesty scent. Good longevity and performance and I would say truly unisex. The one thing I will say is that has this dries down the Vetiver develops a...twiginess to it. In that it sometimes feels like your are smelling woody twigs and sticks. I love woody notes, but not necessarily when they feel, well, for lack of a better word pokey.

More testing to come but overall this was nice and I'm curious to see how it holds up vs other Vetiver perfumes I have on the way to me.

Parfumo says this has been DC'd but it is still available on Ex Nihilo's website in multiple sizes with no mention of discontinuation so not sure what the 411 is for it's status but at the time of this review, still available.

Milky vetiver

Amazing woody scent, not very typical for perfumes with vetiver. For me it's very milky, musky and cozy, like a blanket which is covering you. It's green and fresh from the same time. And i would also say that it has some molecular wibe to it, since scent is very transparent. I adore this one and definitely recommend trying.

Sharp, earthy and a mellow sweetness.

I love this, from the very start you get a nice, tangy vetiver that is smoothed out by the milk note.
This is a definite Spring thru Fall fragrance that is not too sweet and can be worn by a large portion of the populace, age and gender-wise.

Cozy Vetiver

A very nice, cozy, calm scent "for yourself".

It is both green and woody, milky, and a bit rough. In the base, it is nutty-sweet. The sillage is unfortunately almost non-existent, but the longevity is good, lasting about 4-6 hours on the skin. In humid weather, it feels softer.

I like to apply it before going to sleep, a very soothing enveloping and natural scent. Also well-suited for the office and sports, as it does not disturb others.

Absolutely universal, suitable for both men and women.
