A very ethereal, spicy scent
I quite like Royal Anbar, but unfortunately it doesn't completely match my taste.
However, it is definitely well made.
With Royal Anbar, you get an ethereal-spicy scent that somehow reminds me of massage salons or oils that are suitable for a steam bath when you have a cold.
The scent starts off quite strong, and the ethereal note is clearly noticeable for me.
Additionally, the fragrance is spicy and exudes a subtle, yet perceptible sweetness.
Royal Anbar is also woody. The cedarwood note is immediately noticeable and lingers almost until the end for my nose.
Over time, it becomes earthier, but still somewhat sweeter. Especially towards the end, the sweetness is a bit more pronounced. However, it is by no means a gourmand for me.
Essentially, as can be seen from the fragrance pyramid, it is a patchouli-vetiver mix. The slightly sweet and quite pleasant balsamic note comes from the amber-vanilla blend.
