slutty nun chypre laundry musk

If Heinrich Lossow's painting "The Sin" got a modern perfume brief, but plot twist - the nun is doing laundry, and instead of a garden variety horny priest, she's being visited by a biblically accurate angel, all burning eyes and razor wings and divine perversity. It's giving Clovis Trouille's ecstatic scandalous nuns but make it fresh linens and benediction. A slutty nun chypre laundry musk that somehow makes perfect sense. Sacred and profane, bleached and debauched.

If archangels have a smell, i imagine this is how they smell. Basilica di Assisi is amazing and beyond this realm. It does not smell churchy, it smells higher than the church, if this makes any sense. Archangel Michael smells like this masterpiece, in my imagination.
The longevity is very good but the projection is medium. Nevermind the projection, it wear it only to feel myself blessed by the angels.

Warmest night at the church garden

Garden around the Assisi church. An August sunset—soft, comforting. You sit in stillness, the hecticness of life fading far away.

The green here isn’t sharp or fresh; it’s mellow, almost grassy—a surprise from Sorcinelli. Fulfilling, rich, intelligent.

On skin, it turns sweeter over time: powdery frankincense, dates, and resinous warmth.

Perhaps it’s already past midnight.

An Exciting Transformation

Admittedly, at first I was rather unimpressed by "Basilica di Assisi | Filippo Sorcinelli." But over time, the scent became more beautiful and pleasant. The longevity on my skin is about 12 hours with a rather moderate sillage.

The top note starts off very green and herbal with aromas of violet leaves, ivy, and fig leaves. Then, citrusy notes of bergamot and lemon peels emerge. The heart note shifts towards a sweet, fruity, and balsamic direction. Here, I detect raisins, dried plums, rose geraniums, flower honey, as well as labdanum. The base has a resinous, oriental-spicy, woody, and slightly smoky scent. I recognize amber, benzoin, vanilla, frankincense, styrax, tonka beans, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and myrrh.

In the end, I was relieved at how beautifully Basilica di Assisi has developed. I thank Konstantin for the sample.

Of Rose Arrangements and Fruity Resins

Captivated by the notes of this creation, it was the first Memento I tried back then. Somewhat good. Somewhat overwhelming. Somewhat… different than expected.
For it was not the dried-fruity incense I had anticipated, but rather a rosy cloud that was pleasant yet dominant, but also in a way exhausting, as overly floral compositions often are for me.
Incense in the top note? Not at all. And I want to be honest, I also do not detect any incense later on. Instead, as the thorn bush around the rose fades, more and more fruity resins appear, dripping with sweetness.
Over time, this fruity resin sweetness only intensifies, and after a few hours, the last hint of fruit disappears, merging into sweet resins.

In summary: A richly exuberant sweet experience that rises from the rose arrangement.

The range and breadth of the Memento collection is thus gigantic, and even though I am only now, nearly a year after its presentation, getting around to writing, it is certainly noteworthy.
