The perfect plan
It was all perfectly "planned".
At my next tattoo appointment in Milan, I would quickly drop by the Zerouno container beforehand, as if by chance, and pick up a wonderfully overloaded Ambrosivs falcon.
I would then wear the fragrance every day, for every occasion, because such a special, rare, green incense would cling to me like a second skin.
I would then, of course, share this preciousness with inclined perfumers,
everyone would be happy and satisfied.
Yes, that's exactly how it would be.
*Sigh*
So when I recently had the chance to sample Ambrosivs, I didn't hesitate for long.
I could already start wearing it every day, being happy and satisfied.
What could possibly go wrong with this fragrance pyramid?
I would certainly be able to overlook even the juniper with
Artemisia incense
Grapefruit Lemon
Cyclamen
Clove
Patchouli
Vanilla
Vetiver
Rockrose
oh yes!
The first spray...
ROSEMARY.
(Rosemary? Why rosemary?
I hate rosemary)
after three hours
ROSEMARY
(I hate, hate rosemary)
after five hours
ROSEMARY
(I hate, hate, hate rosemary)
The individual ingredients can be guessed at times in the background.
Frankincense is always there somewhere too.
My loved ones describe the silage to me as smoky-green, but the rosemary is and remains close to my skin. Exclusively.
(Even now, as I type these lines, I keep pausing briefly, holding my forearm to my nose to see if something might change. Nothing.)
(I hate, hate, hate, hate rosemary.)
I therefore cannot rate Ambrosivs. I'm sure there's more to it than that. But for me, the one and only theme remains rosemary.
What a pity. I had everything perfectly "planned".
