Do you need it / Is it really better? / Personal opinion
Hello everyone,
after X weeks, months and some years I finally got a sample (5ml), my buddy didn't want to give it to me at first, so it took a long time.
Surely one of the first questions is about the Acqua di Giò Profumo Special Blend, do you need it?
I can't give you a definite yes or no!
(Please read on, then you may see + understand this!
The second question would be, do you notice a difference and is it better as everyone (many) thinks it is? YES it is better and really noticeable! BUT now there are many BUT's!
1. YES it is better, but only subtly and if we talk in figures, then we are roughly in the region of 15%.
2. Yes, there are (probably and I hope so) better and higher quality ingredients and those make it look rounder + richer / more depth...
3. The biggest NO factor for most people (including me) is the price! Because you pay roughly 2x, 3x, 4x more than the normal Acqua di Giò Profumo Parfum and whether THE PURCHASE is worth it, everyone has to decide for themselves...
I am a trained merchant and therefore find it very difficult to make a definitive recommendation - and I'm sure you've noticed why!
If I get 15% MORE and this NOT in performance and then significantly more money, in the multiple monetary sense.... -difficult!
I see the fragrance primarily as a pure MARKETING MOVE or to show what happens when you use other and better things... and for collectors and FANS of the fragrance!
(Personal opinion)
MY PERSONAL TIP:
Buy a batch until 2018 of the normal Acqua di Giò Profumo Parfum and you'll be mega happy with it and save a LOT of money on the "better" Acqua di Giò Profumo Special Blend
I loved the old Acqua di Giò Profumo Parfum and really used it very often for a few years, but from Corona (2020) onwards, the Acqua di Giò Profumo Parfum is no longer what it used to be. That's why I ALWAYS recommend reaching for old batches!
And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you are reading this review, LG the Benny
