Loud and screechy

I never thought a day would come when I will be repulsed by an Armani Prive fragrance. I have been a mega fan of the Prive line from pretty early on in my fragrance journey and never came across an Armani Prive fragrance I disliked until I smelled Cuir Nu. At least on paper, it sounds right up my alley: coffee, cardamom, leather, oud, rose... There was no way I wouldn't like it...or so I thought. The opening in the first 4~5min smells like rose and coffee but very quickly settles into this dark earthy smell (most likely coming from the oud + leather) which feels very nauseating to me, at least on my skin. It stays that way for the rest of the wear. Performance wise, it is very strong and long lasting... I could still smell it even after a shower. But strong doesn't necessarily mean good and to me, it lacks the sophistication and well rounded blend unlike the Armani Prive fragrances.
