Not absolutely good, but still quite nice!
Hello dear perfumas (I am nice, you see, I AM NET, argh, I have to repeat this again and again for you... :D). Welcome to a new women's fragrance comment from me, today it's about a fragrance, whose fragrance series attracts most women like shit to flies (unfortunate comparison, I know, but I'm NO MORE NICE, man, I just couldn't think of anything else... :D). It's all about the Armani Codes, which for me fluctuate from time to time between good and bad.
Yes, especially the men's fragrances are sometimes simply unbearable, so it's surprising that practically every second new fragrance is great again. In the women's fragrances there are a little less really bad scents, but some of them are not so great either. So it's always very exciting to find out how the latest scents from the Code Fragrances smell, because you never know what to expect.
This scent here is from 2019, but I only got to the scent now. I didn't test it in the store, though, but got a sample from a nice perfuma. Testing it in the store is more difficult anyway, not only because of the current pandemic, but because it's also a women's scent, which is better known and all furies.... oops, I meant all women are especially attracted by such scents there and I feel even more stupid than a guy who rolls up his arms in the women's department to spray scents on himself, especially well-known scents like Armanis. Argh, hopefully some day I'll get rid of my shyness to test women's fragrances in public, some day after 100 years, argh :D
All right, let's get to the scent!
In the middle section, too, one continues to smell quite intense neroli or orange blossom, and the sweetish scents now seem to come more from tuberoses than from jasmine, as it now also begins to smell a little more opulent.
However, the opulent aura becomes softer later, which is certainly the "work" of the tonka bean, which you can soon smell and which, as always, smells beautifully sweet and powdery, especially in combination with vanilla.
Over time, the fragrance becomes softer and sweeter, as the tonka bean and vanilla in the base become more intense, masking all other fragrances. Whereby Neroli remains reasonably strong and actually radiates almost as well as vanilla for a while. Apart from that, it stays nice and soft with vanilla and tonka in the base as described and hardly changes at all.
The shelf life is... well, vanilla and tonka, you can imagine that the fragrance sticks to the skin for far more than ten hours :D
The bottle! The flacon is the well-known oval-cylindrical bottle with the indented sides. This time the bottle has a golden colouring, which I personally like a little less, but this is simply a matter of taste. So all in all, the bottle is quite good as always.
Whereby the women's scents of the codes as written at the beginning are generally not bad, as there are some really bad scents among the men's codes, like the code Colonia, boaaargh, which was bad. I think I don't know all the codes, but I think I liked the ladies' code Luna at least, although it wasn't that bad in comparison!
Anyway, I think the code Absolu is pretty good, not a high flyer, but still worth a look if you are still open to mainstream scents! Portable, this code is especially good in autumn and winter, and this is best in the evening or for going out, because it even looks,... yes yes, here it comes again... delicious :))
And that's it from me again, so I wish you all a nice evening, take care and see you next time :)

All right, let's get to the scent!
The smell:
The fragrance starts with a somewhat heavy neroli scent, but it smells nice, even if a small synthetic should be on board. On closer inspection, a slightly tart tangerine is also present, but unfortunately it fades away rather quickly and is replaced by sweeter notes like jasmine. In the middle section, too, one continues to smell quite intense neroli or orange blossom, and the sweetish scents now seem to come more from tuberoses than from jasmine, as it now also begins to smell a little more opulent.

The Sillage and the durability:
The Sillage is good, the smell can be perceived from a little further away. But since it gets softer quickly, you might think that it is quite weak and spray even more, which would make it very room filling, so be careful with the dosage :)The shelf life is... well, vanilla and tonka, you can imagine that the fragrance sticks to the skin for far more than ten hours :D

Conclusion:
So, so good, this time Armani did not do a brilliant performance, but still did a very good job. Just one or two years ago, they delivered miserable scents even under the code scents, which were not only bad, but also so oozed with synthetics that they even looked very cheap. Sure, this scent also has noticeable synthetics, all codes have that, but normally this is neither annoying nor bad smelling but just normal there without looking cheap. Whereby the women's scents of the codes as written at the beginning are generally not bad, as there are some really bad scents among the men's codes, like the code Colonia, boaaargh, which was bad.
