One more...
Another boring "sport" frag with the inevitable mix of lemon/bergamot and ginger. Nothing new. One more clone.

Otro aburrido perfume"Sport" con la clasica estructura de limón/bergamota y jenjibre. No aporta nada nuevo y se agrega a la larga lista de este tipo de fragancias.
Muy baja persistencia y proyección.

Smells like cheap spirit
...I received this sample from one of those jovially grinning advertising ladies in a suit with a cheeky scarf matching her makeup at Kaufhof. Just as precarious as her employment situation is the perfume (by the way, there are no longer those little perfume vials (glass has become prohibitively expensive ;-)), but these aluminum pouches where the liquid immediately splashes out when you tear it open)...everything is just synthetic blend, no creative concept is recognizable, it smells like Dove men (similarly disgusting) and not like the fragrance components described above...let's spare the market from such amateurish chemical concoctions in the future. And for this, one is supposed to pay 50 euros, outrageous...if you prefer something fresh-smelling, you’d be better off with Dior Homme Sport or Habit Rouge by Guerlain....

Sport is Murder
Pi by Givenchy is for me a little vintage gem in today's perfume world. However, what Givenchy was thinking during the development of the fragrance Play Sport will forever remain a mystery to me. A fragrance that carries the words "Play" and "Sport" in its name already gives ample reason for concern, but what unfolds after spraying it on the skin is relatively easy to explain: nothing at all.

It is remarkable that the sample packaging actually attempts to characterize the fragrance (vague and trivial, e.g., citrus cocktail, peppermint, ginger, etc.) - as if Play Sport had any kind of character! Play Sport does not go beyond a completely meaningless citrus-mint note. This Eau de Toilette does not develop at all. Longevity and sillage are simply weak, and the "bottle" comes in a regrettable plastic look. If one likes, they can identify a woody note, but a Rioja from Lidl for 1.99 EUR has that too.

As for the ginger component mentioned in the fragrance pyramid, which often provides a charmingly spicy note in a successful perfume, you notice absolutely nothing here. What remains on the skin after a few minutes is a completely faded and shriveled lemon.

A presence like a closed quarry. With a lot of goodwill, a squinted eye, and because Play Sport at least does not directly cause physical pain, I send this little water with 10% to the eternal hunting grounds.

"Now I don't know either, uh... ?"
I received a sample of this today and tried it after the sauna.
Well, what can I say, a typical sport scent, with rather typical ingredients for this category. As is often the case with sport fragrances, it starts off pleasantly fresh and mildly citrusy from the top. That's nice, but nothing really mind-blowing.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you about the other notes, heart and base - because after about half an hour, that's already it with Givenchy Play Sport.
Pure standard fare created solely to make a little "extra money." Such a fragrance won't find long-term and convinced wearers. It simply lacks everything.

It's their own fault if someone buys this stuff, uh... perfume. Many will surely regret it when they realize too late what they paid so much money for.

Really love my sweet thing...
Now I don't wanna spoil the party... but I don't agree with the play-bashing. Play itself is primarily orange and a bit sultry for me, while Play Sport is noticeably lighter and smells on my skin like mandarin peels with a hint of mint... which I consider a coherent variant within the Play family. Nothing else happens for me in terms of scent, but it feels very natural. I love this fragrance, even though I don't have a taste for mandarins. Yet the scent feels peaceful, cheerful, invigorating, and gives me a sense of security.

So far, I haven't found anything in the drugstore that brings this scent to the skin as well and costs less. I'm open to any specific tips.
