Young femmes, look alive! (I met a mermaid once. Sometimes the glitter on the waves resembles her smile.)
She boasts watermelon and pear to start. It is immediately crisp and clean. She wakes up the room with her sweetness. You are reminded of a girl from your youth: refreshing, kind, a morning beach-goer. You want to protect her. Your memory is carried towards her by genial bergamot and cherry blossom. Florals are very watery. The whole fragrance is aquatic and unassuming. Her trail weakens exponentially by the hour. You promise to meet after school, but by noon, she is gone.

Summer, definitely. Weak longevity and sillage. I am going to gift this to a younger version of myself.

Nice at first
The beginning smells strongly of bergamot for a fleeting moment, then it transforms into an aquatic-powdery fruit (it’s really hard to tell, though I assume it’s the watermelon because watermelon is a top note). It’s very fresh, and enjoyable at this point, but then to my disappointment, after 30 minutes, the strong smell of musky florals are prevalent, and stay that way for the majority of it’s longevity. And now, it becomes nauseating to me. It becomes way too strong, like you’re digging your nose into real, musty flowers. I think it’s the rose, because cherry blossoms are supposed to smell light, while rose has a much stronger scent. Then the dry down kind of reminds me me of baby powder (which I have no complaints) and the strong, musty florals are gone, and replaced with soft florals (violet, I think), musk, and sandalwood. If the perfume had stayed the same as the initial, I wouldn’t mind wearing it, but the middle notes deter me. By the way, this is a light fragrance that lasts decently, and should not offend anyone unless their nose is right next to your skin.

...awakens the Japanese woman in you!
This is a short comment. Not because the scent is so insignificant, but...well, the typical Aqua Allegoria durability and overall performance. As a "big nose," I am spoiled, so a "wearability" of about 3 hours doesn't really satisfy me. But for those 3 hours, the scent is: beautiful! And if I were Japanese, and not typically German with shoe size 42 and a lover of bold fragrances, I would shyly smile and with almond-shaped eyes adore this scent and revel in its fresh, innocent aura while tiptoeing through the cherry blossom forest on tiny size-35 feet.
In a quick test, it took 1st place among the 3 new Aqua Allegorias for me, but in the long run, it might not be able to maintain that. The light pear sweetness is the only source of sugar, and it's so light and fruity that one cannot speak of gourmand. Rather, the scent can be described as fresh-floral, with spring-like green speckles.
So lovely, so shy, so well-mannered.

A Cheerfully Relaxed Spring
Hello sniffers and welcome to a new comment from me, in which I describe one of the new Aqua Allegoria fragrances from Guerlain, namely Flora Cherrysia, to be precise. You may know that I generally think highly of this line, as they are usually relaxed, beautiful feel-good scents, with a variety that should surely have something for everyone’s taste!

Unfortunately, from a male perspective, it’s unfortunate that most of these fragrances are, once again, only suitable for you ladies, as most of them smell quite feminine. This always makes me so envious! Sure, you might say that one should wear the scent they like, and that may be true, but damn it, I’m a guy! :D I don’t want to smell like a flower!!! :DD

*sigh*

But… at least I can smell these wonderful fragrances on a girlfriend… well, theoretically, that is, if I had a girlfriend… which, of course, I don’t have again, hmpf…! But at least I can test the scent on myself, it’s like I’m smelling… um… argh, no, forget what I just wanted to say… it wasn’t that important anyway! Better read the scent description :D

The Scent:
The scent starts wonderfully fruity fresh with floral notes. I initially smell a deliciously fragrant watermelon, which together with bergamot and pear smells very nice and conveys a wonderfully relaxed spring feeling. Then the cherry comes in and adds another fruity note to the mix. But don’t worry if you fear that everything might smell too bright and fruity, because I find that the fruity notes come across as truly perfumey.
A little later, the scent remains fruity fresh but also gains more floral fragrances. I might be detecting cherry blossoms here, as I generally perceive a cherry-like scent (but I’m just not sure if it comes from cherries or the cherry blossoms. And I’d rather not ask if cherry blossoms also smell like cherries… :DD). Additionally, I smell general (white) flowers as well as violets, which are somewhat faint, but you can still detect their sweet-powdery scent.
While the fruity notes are still clearly in the foreground at the beginning, they weaken over time, so that in the base, the floral scents smell slightly stronger than the fruity ones. Woody notes are added, which, together with the flowers, give a somewhat "dry" impression, but the scent remains lovely overall, even if the namesake cherry becomes harder to detect towards the end. Musk sweetens the scent a bit towards the end. Oh, and the scent has a slightly clean note, which almost smells soapy, which might also be due to the aforementioned musk, as musk doesn’t smell soapy but can sometimes come across as clean.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is moderate to weak, which is a bit unfortunate, as you won’t be able to smell the scent particularly well on others (you have to get closer), but this is typical for most summer fragrances and generally for the Aqua Allegoria fragrance line.
The longevity is also moderate at about five to six hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and has a domed cap on top. A gilded honeycomb dress has been attached to this dome, which looks very nice as always. Additionally, the bottle is further enhanced by the pretty pink fragrance liquid. The cap is round and also gilded. All in all, the bottle is, as usual, of high quality, feels good in the hand, and simply looks great.

So… yes, that was one of the new Aqua Allegorias. I liked it. Even though the scent isn’t really anything special, I still enjoyed it. Yes, I would love to smell this scent on a lady. I may not have a girlfriend right now, but I can only recommend you ladies to try it or even wear it and delight those around you, even if the scent isn’t technically a world novelty and is only "above average" good. Because I’m sure it smells quite nice on you!

Yes, that’s how it is. It’s not a scent that you would miss painfully if it were discontinued. But you certainly wouldn’t go wrong wearing it now and then on nice spring and summer days, especially if it’s for leisure, or as a relaxed and unobtrusive scent at work or just for yourself. And as mentioned, I want to emphasize again that I think the scent, despite many fruity notes, doesn’t come across as girly and shrill but rather beautifully feminine.

So a test can be worthwhile! And that’s it from me again, I wish you all a lovely evening and see you next time :)

Japanese Spring in a Bottle
At first, there is a very strong bergamot note, which reminds me a lot of an Asian snack bar. However, that fades quickly and a fresh floral scent remains. It's a light fragrance that you would need to reapply throughout the day to perceive it.

Pretty scent with a tart aftertaste. Ubiquitous white musk translates tolerably here.

Surprisingly, my favorite from 2019 is Allegoria. Delicately sweet, zesty, and sparkling green.

For me, one of the weaker Aqua Allegorias, as the scent gets stuck in a slightly musky-powdery version of Fruity Florals.

This cherry blossom makes lotus flowers shine. Relatively not sweet but subtly enchanting and feminine. Not overpowering. Positively captivating ;-)

Very pleasant everyday scent for summer, seduces with a delicate cherry note at first, then becomes floral-fresh-clean & fine!

Lovely fruitiness from juicy watermelon and green pear, yet with a cherry-red nuance, and very subtle, light flowers.

So pink, innocent, and girlish like the bottle - delicate fruity-floral with a hint of sweetness and a woody base. Only up to shoe size 36.

Cherry blossom bliss...initially almost herbal, then with a hint of sweetness, a very nice woody-musk drydown. Perfect for warm weather.
