Hot Carpenter Realness
Opens with a sharp acridity reminiscent of wood lacquer (vaguely reminding me of Bowmakers Eau de Parfum ) that fades after about half an hour.
There are supposedly jasmine and patchouli in the heart and base, but I can’t find either of them.
Instead, for the vast majority of the 8-10 hour wear time, it’s sticky, sharp resin and muted leather backed by a slight muskiness.
There’s something a little animalic — even sexy — about it, like smelling a smokin’ hot carpenter’s leather apron. I like it a lot, but think maybe I’d like it even more on someone other than me?
Longevity is high, and projection is surprisingly intimate. Completely unisex, since gender is irrelevant when you’re a spicy woodworker.
