Definitely Dirty

This is a patchouli heavy vanilla, definitely grassier than I expected. Can't say it doesn't warn you on the label about capturing the "dirtiness" of the fragrance. There is something almost medicinal in its aromaticness. The vintage store/grandma attic dust thing is for sure present, which I don't think aids the vanilla.

Vanilla Forever

This opens with lovely cedarwood, that smells like old books, and then the vanilla rises up out of this wood. It's a real vanilla - very authentic and sweet and floral in that orchid way. Underneath all of this is amber, providing a base. I think I would have preferred this composition without the amber, but it's a brilliant blend as it is as well. If you've ever spilled a bit of pure vanilla while baking and enjoyed putting it on your skin like perfume, you might like this one.

It is one of my favourite vanillas to use any day, any time.

Boozy, spicy, then sweet!

When I first smelled this fragrance I actually found it to be pretty spicy! Kind of boozy, with a vanilla extract smell. Definitely heavy with vetiver and patchouli. It was only as it dried I started to get more of a sweetness and the vanilla shined much more. I was not sure how often I would wear this scent as I’m a much bigger fan of sweeter vanilla. That being said, it’s become one of my favorite day to day perfumes. With time, I have found that it only smells sweeter to me. I actually am kind of shocked some don’t smell the vanilla in this fragrance, as I truly feel that is lovely— spicy, but totally vanilla.

fancy spa smell

smells like the steam room of a spa or the inside of a wood cabin. much more wood forward than it is vanilla forward. very unobtrusive. i like the cedarwood in it. it’s an objectively nice fragrance but i just don’t think it’s my vibe. i prefer my woody scents to be a littler darker and spicier i think.

Oh dear, what smells so strange here? Is it the clothes in grandma's old wardrobe or perhaps fermented fruits that I've forgotten somewhere in my apartment? I smell my arm… What the hell… This is the first fragrance that makes me feel genuinely nauseous. This scent is not unisex for me at all. Way too scratchy, way too musty. But I have experienced similar fragrances before. It catapults me back into the past. In front of me stands an older gentleman around 70
years old. His appearance is elegant, he wears a top hat, stylish clothing, and a striking perfume. Not my style, but apparently, there are indeed people who appreciate such scent compositions.
