Grandpa Paco's Polish cousin
I've only had it for a few days. I ordered it blind. 10.95 € for 100ml. What could possibly go wrong!
Immediately after spraying it on, there is a strange spicy, herbaceous smell with a slightly pungent synthetic scent. Combined with some citrus.
However, this subsides after about 10 minutes.
In the drydown, it becomes woody, mossy and herbaceous. Wonderful fougere accords take over. Everything is wonderfully round. Mild and not particularly bright. Great for work. Moss and lavender with herbs in the background. Plus the woodiness. Everything together makes a great picture.
The shelf life of six to seven hours is perfectly fine.
The P/L is unbeatable.
Why such a stupid title for this review?
Well, it's very reminiscent of PRph and also Bogart Signature. It lies somewhere in the intersection of the two.
Woda Toaletowa is written on the bottle. Made in Poland.
The bottle is fine. The lid is cheap. The sprayer does its job. But for the price.... What the heck?
It's a shirt-sleeved, somewhat rustic fougere. Working-class hands and a flannel shirt instead of manicured paws and a designer suit.
I think it's a complete success. The performance is completely ok for the price called for.
Thumbs up for this Polish interpretation of a fougere.
Thanks for reading.
