Pour femme, fresh shower
I like fresh scents in the summer every now and then. The EdP Legere has already won me over, because it combines citrus-fresh-showered vibes with the DNA of the original, without it immediately again like one of the drölfzig Flanker acts.
The start is citrusy, though exactly I can't detect any fruit. The citrusy is less toilet stone and more the smell of standing in an orangery. Spritzig and clear in the start then develops the typical Lacoste Pour Femme DNA by the really pleasant, bright jasmine. The jasmine in this range is not the "in your face" jasmine that appears in Mugler, for example, but a bright, quiet, friendly one. The base is Himalayan cedar, sandalwood and musk. It's all quite classic and all well-measured. Where the original has freesia, heliotrope and also rose and incense, the Legere is lighter, friendlier but also quieter. The original I like very much, but find this flanker very well done and pleasant.
