Tennis Match in the Sunshine

I only got into tennis as a young adult - simply because this sport was frowned upon in our clique.
Bourgeois and stuffy - and what the parents liked was absolutely not allowed to please us.

But my husband played tennis, and I found it silly to oppose it.
And I must admit - in the sunshine, it's a pleasant way to move outdoors.
Of course, we played gentlemen's tennis - that means we politely tossed the balls to each other instead of chasing each other around the court.
And that's how the fragrance behaves.
It appears in a white tennis dress and is ready to play.
Unexcited and stress-free.
No competition - but a harmonious interplay.

Woodiness is gently spiced by cardamom - and eucalyptus adds freshness.
The fir acts ethereal and also fresh.

A friendly scent that is particularly pleasant in summer.
But I prefer the EdT because it seems brighter and lighter to me.
However, the EdP also has its charm.

More of the Same - Just Not as Long-Lasting

This fragrance meets expectations. It is very similar to its brother, the EdT, and the family resemblance is clear. But where is the difference?!

The bottle immediately stands out with its pattern. This is likely meant to reference the pique fabric of the well-known polo shirts. Furthermore, the crocodile here is in silver (the EdT has a green crocodile). Otherwise, it is the same presentation, without a magnetic cap.

The fragrance itself is quite linear and has little transformation, which in my opinion does not necessarily need to be the case. Not every fragrance has to represent an aromatic journey; there are others for that. It feels just as fresh and citrusy as the EdT, but also a bit darker. - The white of the bottle should rather have a slight gray shimmer. Is that where the silver crocodile comes from? -
It is a citrusy freshness that indeed drifts towards lime in the heart note. Eucalyptus is, if at all, only very faintly perceivable. The pine remains completely distant to me.

The longevity is limited to 4 hours for EdP. My recommendation would therefore be to opt for the EdT instead. In my opinion, the price increase is not justified at this point.

Disappointing

First of all: I have always been a fan of the EdT, even if it may not be the most high-quality perfume, and I enjoy wearing it on spring days in my leisure time. The lack of longevity and sillage has always been a drawback, so I was all the more curious about the EdP version of Blanc.
Conclusion: no improved longevity and sillage, and the top note has something very citrusy and intrusive that is almost unpleasant for me. Here, the EdT with its slightly synthetic floral opening is worlds better!

A fragrance that brings memories.

I don't understand the reviews of this fragrance... however, I do understand one thing.. the Lacoste L.12.12 line is not the best, there are many scents of which I am absolutely not a fan, but this fragrance stands out because it is something very special, not like the others in this line.
For me, it is one of the best fresh scents for everyday use that exists, I happened to buy it at the drugstore and fell in love immediately. The citrus opening is perfect and the scent itself is too. It has a really decent sillage and the longevity is also not to be underestimated.
Now to the main point. This fragrance has something that I simply find wonderful, I wore it almost daily when it was released, and when I smell it now, I get memories from that time. There were no special events that I experienced with this fragrance, but everything seems nostalgic to me when I smell it, and it feels like the previous year was just yesterday. All the moments of last year in a bottle...
This perfume gives me a memory kick like no other, it is simply the definition of a youthful sporty guy who just enjoys life.

I would recommend the fragrance for everyday use, school, and especially the gym, but not for formal events, as it still smells very synthetic.

If you want a fragrance that reminds you of summer, then you should reach for this one, I can hardly wait to buy a new bottle of it this summer.

Gentle White

L.12.12 Blanc Eau de Toilette stands well on its own, but the market needs new things, the market likes variety, the market demands flankers. Hence the EdP. And they have remained very true to the DNA of the EdTs, changing only a little of the successful formula. Thus, L.12.12 Blanc Eau de Parfum has become a bit sweeter, also a bit fruitier, but slightly less green. The differences are therefore quite limited, and it is questionable whether one would indulge in the EdP when the EdT is already on the shelf.
In this case, the notes are quite difficult, as a large part of it comes across as rather synthetic. It is also interesting how much the pyramids differ between EdT and EdP, even though the scents are so similar.
Eucalyptus is said to be the one bringing the freshness this time, citrus caviar (it gets exotic) is supposed to be responsible for the fruity and citrusy aspects, replacing the mundane grapefruit. The floral notes (tuberose, ylang-ylang) are missing, but they also did not leave a natural impression in the EdT and came across as very emaciated and synthetic.
Nevertheless, the overall impression is okay, not great, but solid enough. For the price, it is an almost equally acceptable blue (the name is misleading), which is particularly suitable for sports, leisure, and everyday use, but also has certain all-rounder qualities.

However, the performance is disappointing, as the only very moderate sillage diminishes further after 2 hours and is then gone after 6 hours. As so often, one pays the low price with low performance, and the extra sprays might possibly offset the low costs (in a negative sense).
